CNS News has an excellent interview with Morris Dees of the Southern Poverty Law Center. Dees claims to have no knowledge of the controversy over Sarah Palin's district targeting map despite his website having commented on it at the time.
You may recall that SPLC's "hate map" was used by Floyd Lee Corkins to target the Washington DC offices of the Family Research Council. He arrived in their lobby with ammunition and Chick-fil-a wrappers but was stopped after wounding one person.
Given this history, CNS reporter Elizabeth Harrington asked Dees if he had considered pulling down the "hate map." Dees replied "having a group on our Hate Map doesn’t cause anybody to attack them anymore than they attacked us for one thing or another." In other words, maps don't motivate mass shooters.
This led naturally to the next question "Do you see any double standard about how Sarah Palin was used—they said the Tuscon shooting was because she had a target of that district—and they blame her for violence—"
Incredibly, Dees suddenly claimed to have no knowledge of it, telling CNS News "I’m not familiar with it, I’m not familiar with what you’re talking about there."
Perhaps Dees should go back and have a look at the article written by the group's President on Jan. 10, 2011 titled "Tragedy in Arizona."
We may never get a clear picture of what was going through the confused mind of the Tucson gunman. But as my colleague Mark Potok explained on NPR this morning, with all the vitriol on the airwaves, it's not surprising that someone has taken deadly aim at an elected official.
Tea Party darlings like Sharron Angle talk about using "second amendment remedies" to change the course of the country. The shameless Glenn Beck feeds the lunatic fringe with talk of the government herding Americans into FEMA concentration camps and of imminent violence from mysterious forces "from the left." Sarah Palin uses phrases like "don't retreat, reload" and shows the districts of various Democrats in Congress, including that of Tucson's Gabrielle Giffords, in the crosshairs.
Is that the map Dees is not familiar with? The one his site accused of being part of the vitriol that would inevitably lead to shooting an elected official, even if it hadn't in this particular case. The piece continued:
The problem isn't so much a lack of politeness. We should expect sharp elbows and a healthy degree of ridicule to be thrown around by those in the political arena. The problem is the incendiary rhetoric, with its violence-laced metaphors, and the spinning of paranoid fantasies. The problem is the non-stop demonization one hears from political opportunists trolling for votes and their media allies trolling for ratings.
You can add to that list of demagogues the left-wing websites trolling for money and influence on the basis of a tragedy they know nothing about.
As we know, this was more than likely a state sanctioned assassination. The more evidence that comes out, the more it is apparent, this was no accident. Whatever Michael knew, was enough for this regime to want get rid of him. What the “Powers That Be” didn’t bet on, is that we, as journalists, will not let this go, until all the facts are out and known.
Inexplicably, the palm tree Hastings’ car hit has scorched bark and slightly wounded base –approximately 16″W x 4.5″ H x 1″D– seemingly minimal damage for a 3,538 pound car striking the tree at a reportedly 100 mph. Also pictures taken by San Diego 6 News show the curb has a small scratch, but no major chipping or fractures and the rear tires resting against the curb.
The new video also captures three distinct explosions, but the intensity of the fire suggests an accelerant may have been involved since gasoline only burns at 530 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit.
Just prior to airtime, San Diego 6 News received the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) response to its FOIA request for transcripts of the 911 calls made by witnesses describing the sounds of explosions that woke them and took the life of the award-winning journalist in the early hours of June 18.
There were seven 911 calls included in the FOIA from the LAPD to San Diego 6 News:
Call one; “Caller reported an accident, the car exploded. Caller was transferred to the Los Angeles City Fire Department.”
Call two; “Caller reported a huge accident, and the car had blown up. Caller was transferred to the Los Angeles City Fire Department.”
Call three; “Caller reported a car accident occurred in front of his house, and the car is burning.”
Call four; “Caller reported a traffic collision, he is not involved, there is a possible fatality because there was a giant explosion that occurred in the median, unknown if anyone got out of the vehicle.”
Call five; “Caller reported a car is totally engulfed in flames.”
Call six; “Caller reported a large fire on the divider of the road, he is not sure if there is a car involved.”
And call seven; “Caller reported huge auto accident.”
Prophetically, just hours before his death Hastings sent the following email to close friends:
“Subject: FBI Investigation, re: NSA -Hey (redacted names) — the Feds are interviewing my “close friends and associates.” Perhaps if the authorities arrive “BuzzFeed GQ,” er HQ, may be wise to immediately request legal counsel before any conversations or interviews about our news gathering practices or related journalism issues. Also: I’m onto a big story, and need to go off the rada[r] for a bit. But, the FBI Los Angeles-based spokesperson, Laura Eimiller, atypically emailed media emphatically denying the agency was looking into Mr. Hastings background.
As an investigative journalist, Hastings saw his fair share of threats. One particular passage in his book, “The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan,” revealed that a former McChrystal staff member made a death threat. “We’ll hunt you down and kill you if we don’t like what you write,” the unnamed staffer said. Hastings coolly retorted: “Well, I get death threats like that about once a year, so no worries.”
A friend of Michael Hastings, who met him after the story on General McChrystal said “Michael was fearless, but he was obviously scared by something (referencing the email).” Stonewalling and obfuscatory tactics seem to be indicative of the “new normal” response from government agencies when trying to avoid a finding of “foul play” and Michael Hastings’ “accident” is no exception.
The newly released 911 calls and LAPD’s failure to produce the police report only postulate additional questions. No amount of personal threats or stonewalling from government officials will curtail the truth from eventually coming out. And despite the LAPD push back, San Diego 6 News will continue to seek the truth with the assistance of Judicial Watch, a Washington DC based foundation.
One puzzling aspect of the LAPD’s objection to the release of the police report is the inference in the FOIA/CPRA response to San Diego 6 News that a federal investigation may be in progress, which only adds further questions as to what agency is investigating since the FBI said it is not investigating. This turn of events reaffirms this reporter’s contention and the tens of thousands of individuals who have responded to this story that it IS in the public interest … Hastings was a national figure.
To find-out who is investigating and why, this week Judicial Watch will serve additional FOIAs against the DOJ (AKA Eric Holders’ war on journalists), Department of Homeland Security’s HSI, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the National Security Agency (NSA), the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Secretary of the Department of Defense (DoD), and the Secretary of the Department of the Army (due to unchallenged threats made directly to Mr. Hastings).

No teacher and no school board member was asked to contribute to the Common Core standards. Nor was any State Legislature involved in the creation of this monstrosity.
Under this plan, every teacher will teach the same material with much of the same teaching strategies as every other teacher. This is the 21st Century educational version of the Stepford Wives. The Tenth Amendment is dead and individual freedom is being stamped out.
Common Core Plagiarizes Bloom’s Taxonomy Common core espouses the laudable goal of making children think critically. In every piece I have read where the establishment defends Common Core, the company line states that it is important to move children away from memorization learning to analyzing and creating. I wholeheartedly agree with this goal. However, we do not have to spend billions of dollars to achieve this end.
In 1948, psychologist Benjamin Bloom and associates, developed the six levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy. Under the taxonomy, learning progressed from memorization to analyzing and creating. If that sounds familiar, Common Core has copied Bloom's taxonomy almost verbatim. Sure they changed nouns to verbs and verbs to nouns, but the progression of learning is almost identical. And this is what is being touted as the great revolution in teaching and learning. After comparing Bloom's Taxonomy to Common Core, can there be any doubt that of the lack of authenticity of Common Core?

Why would the creators of Common Core go backwards and regurgitate Bloom’s Taxonomy? First, the taxonomy is respected and gave America some of her best days in public education. Bloom’s taxonomy was successful because of the fact that the government did not get to control the content or the application. Secondly, if a respected learning progression will be universally accepted, then the substance behind the theoretical approach can be slipped in and the propagandizing of the young can begin. Yes, I am talking about a system of education where propaganda is a thinly disguised goal.
Nobody is going to challenge the notion that we should get children to think more critically. And what if the creators of Common Core can mandate specific topical material to be taught within the Common Core, an entire generation of young learners can be molded to the desired point of view. Before you tell me to remove my tin foil hat, please examine the evidence listed below and then honestly tell me that there is not a cause for concern.
First, let’s take a look at the history of failed federal educational programs.
One Failed Federal Education Program After Another To understand where we are going, we have to first understand where we have been. Teachers have endured such educational faux pas from Goals 2000, to School to Work, to No Child Left Behind and now we are witnessing the latest in fad in American education, the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
Each one of the aforementioned programs threw billions of taxpayer dollars down the toilet, while contributing to the dramatic decrease in student performance. For example, SAT Reading scores, for the high school class of 2012, reached a 40+ year low since the implementation of No Child Left Behind. (NCLB).
The successor of NCLB, Common Core, is based upon social justice, arriving at knowledge and subsequent decision making through a spirit of collectivism and developing a communal agreement about the need to teach and to integrate into each classroom an underlying theme of sustainable development. These goals are not just going to be taught in specific Environmental Science courses, but these philosophies are to be implemented and taught in EACH and EVERY course that a child takes during their educational experiences beginning with pre-K and stretching to post graduate secondary education.
Bill Gates, the driving force behind Common Core Globalist and Eugenics proponent, Bill Gates, is one of the Founding Fathers of the Common Core movement and its copyright holders, NGA/CCSSO. Gates donated about $25 million dollars to promote his version of global education. Gates has made several donations to CCSSO to promote Common Core. In 2009, Gates made two separate donations of $9,961,842 and $3,185,750. In 2010, Gates donated $743,331 and in 2011, he contributed $9,388,911. In 2008, Gates donated $2,259,780 to the National Governor’s Association (NGA) to develop and implement Common Core. The NGA is the conduit into America from the United Nations UNESCO, Education for All Agenda 21 version of globalist education being forced down the throats of our young people.
Gates is listed as partner with UNESCO/UN to fund ”Education For All,” which in turn was transferred to the National Governors Association which changed the name to Common Core. In a key document, "The Dakar Framework for Action: Education For All: Meeting Our Collective Commitments" which identifies the goals for what became Common Core. The document speaks directly to the Agenda 21 educational ideals of collectivism, social justice, environmental justice and the espousing of the beliefs of the pseudoscience known as sustainable development.
Common Core Serves the Edicts of Agenda 21 Chapter 36 of Agenda 21 Public Awareness and Training focuses on impressing upon every citizen on the planet, the indispensable need for achieving sustainable development. In plain language, Common Core is going into every country. The implementation names of this global education may vary, but the underlying Agenda 21 philosophies do not. Chapter 36 also states that the globalists plan to “reorient” worldwide education toward sustainable development. In future installments in this series, the weak academic standards of Common Core will be revealed. Reform of the nation’s standardized objectives is merely a smokescreen to the true intent of the program which is to covertly gain acceptance for Agenda 21 policies.
Subsequently, the Agenda 21/UNESCO documents clearly state their intention to turn each student into a globalist who will accept smaller living space, residing in the stack-and-pack cities of the future, acceptance of drastic energy reduction and the loss of Constitutional liberties. The document goes on to say that:
While basic education provides the underpinning for any environmental and development education, the latter needs to be incorporated as an essential part of learning. Both formal and non-formal education are indispensable to changing people’s attitudes so that they have the capacity to assess and address their sustainable development concerns…
Educational Russian Roulette The Common Core is an untested, federally promoted, unfunded experiment. The standards creators (NGA/CCSSO) have not set up a monitoring plan to test this national experiment, to see what, if any, unintended consequences the Common Core will have on our children. This is a game Russian Roulette being played on the socio-emotional, intellectual and spiritual aspects of our children’s development. This is only the tip of the iceberg. If we let the teaching of the controversial topic of sustainability in each and every course, our children will not be given the chance to debate the merits of climate change theories. This will lead to the unquestioned ushering in of carbon taxes and cap-and-trade policies. This will spell economic doom for this country as know it today through the biggest wealth transfer in American history through cap and trade which will severely curtail individual and small business energy usage.
Yet, the rich will be able to afford to buy their way out of restrictions by paying the penalties that the average person cannot afford. Ultimately, this will lead to neo-feudalism. If you doubt the veracity of these comments, let’s give President Obama the floor and let him tell you in his own words.
Are we really naive enough to believe that Obama is just making up this nonsense about implementing cap and trade and causing our utility prices to skyrocket and significantly lowering the standard of living for the middle class?
We can teach our kids to think critically without this program, we could just return to Bloom’s Taxonomy because it works. However, this would not offer the pretext for the Bill Gates’ of the world to shove their climate change agenda down the throats of our children and get them to acquiesce to what is coming.
In another 10 years, this federal program will implode like all the other federal education programs, but the damage will have been done. How many more decades can America endure a drop of reading comprehension scores by another 40+ points until we are as functionally illiterate as most Third World countries? And more importantly, how far will that American standard of living be decreased during this time as we produce a generation of children who will mindlessly accept the resources scraps of this planet as they attempt to survive in a completely changed world?
Solutions Is it time to homeschool? It is certainly understandable if many choose this option. For most, the time for mass homeschooling has not yet arrived, but we need to demand accountability and demand it now. Teachers and administrators need to be involved in revamping of this program. For example, when dealing with controversial topics like climate change, both sides of the issue need to be fairly presented. We need to halt the funding of Common Core immediately and embrace what it is based upon: Bloom’s Taxonomy. We need to embrace what we know works, not the anecdotal accounts of Common Core supporters who stand to make billions of dollars through the implementation of this program. We also need to return education to the local level and empower local school boards to make education decisions on curriculum as they once did. Then and only then, can we shape a future for our children that we can trust.

However, there is one thing they can’t do without explicit orders from the president: cross an international border on a hostile mission. That is the clear ‘red line’ in this type of a crisis situation.”
We know the back story, we have heard all the talk and speculation regarding Gun running to the Syrian’s and we now know that to be true, as Obama and his criminal cronies are currently and openly sending arms and God knows what else to the Syrian Rebels. Commander-in-Chief Obama had to grant Navy SEAL Team Six, CBA (Cross Border Authority), for them to enter Pakistani airspace to complete their mission to kill or capture Osama bin Laden. Hell Obama even bragged about giving them the CBA Order, when he said:
“I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action and authorized an operation (gave the CBA), to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. Today at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that Compound in Abbottabad Pakistan.”
Now on the flip side of the CBA coin is this; to avoid or prevent a rescue in Benghazi, all the Commander-in-Chief, the President of the United States, the only person with the authority to grant a CBA, is to not grant the Cross Border Authority; if the Commander-in-Chief does not grant the CBA, the entire rescue mission must stop, even if underway. According to Mr. Bracken, retired Navy SEAL officer:
“Ships can loiter on station, but airplanes fall out of the sky, so they must be redirected to an air base (Signorelli, in Sicily) to await the [Commander-in-Chief’s] decision on granting CBA. If the decision to grant CBA never comes, the besieged diplomatic outpost in Benghazi can rely only on assets already “in country” in Libya — such as the Tripoli quick reaction force and the Predator drones. These assets can be put into action on the independent authority of the acting ambassador or CIA station chief in Tripoli. So with this in mind, how might this process have played out in the White House, that fateful night on September 11th 2012?
Who was it that gave Ms. Susan Rice instructions to lie to the American people on five Sunday morning television Show’s stating that the attack on Benghazi was due to some obscure anti-Islam film no one had even heard of until that moment? Who paid for the propaganda machine to go into full swing that Sunday morning? Was it Obama, the Commander-in-Chief, or Hillary, the operating Secretary of State, or both? Needless to say the propaganda machine went into full gear and a cover-up which dwarfs Watergate is the outcome. It is important to keep in mind here that no one died in the Watergate Scandal; four human lives were lost in Benghazi.
Here is the fact, Benghazi’s smoking gun if you will; only the president, the Commander-in-Chief can give the Cross-Border-Authority, he is the only person who has the authority to give or deny the CBA. This puts the spotlight directly where it should be, without any of the conjecture, back story of motive or intent. The buck really does stop with the President, the Commander-in-Chief. It boils down to this one simple fact, why did Obama refuse to give the Cross-Border-Authority (CBA); while two ex-Navy SEALS fought for 7 horrible hours against fearful odds, waiting for relief that was ordered not to go (Obama refused the CBA) by the President, who then went back to bed so he was well rested to attend a Vegas fund-raiser the following day. While Obama was sleeping tucked away nicely in his bed, comfortable and safe in the White House; those two men who died targeting a designated mortar that killed them, they waited for an air strike that was never launched, because the Commander-in-Chief refused the CBA Cross-Border-Authority), that my fellow countrymen is called “Maladministration.”
So let us put aside all the back stories, all the speculations, the possible motives or intent and let us concentrate on these two issues shall we. Issue number one: The President of the United States, the Commander-in-Chief, and the only individual with the authority to provide a CBA that would have enabled a launched targeted operation to rescue Ambassador Stevens, two Navy Seals, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty and the office manager Sean Smith, refused to authorize said Cross-Border-Authority and went to bed. Issue number two: In refusing to authorize the CBA, the President of the United States, the Commended-in-Chief of the Military is guilty of Maladministration; which resulted in the deaths of four innocent American’s. Those are the facts, the only two facts that should and must be considered here. Four people are dead, because we have an inept, incompetent, ineffectual, indecisive, weak, and irresolute man sitting in the oval office, his name is Barrack Hussein Obama.
It is time that we get on with the business of the Nation, and bring this man up on charges of maladministration and his refusal to authorize the Cross-Border-Authority (CBA). That simple Congress, now do your job, because the American people are watching and if you do not, you will be relieved of your position, and that is not a threat, but a promise!

From Russia Today: Sen. Dianne Feinstein referred to the US, Canada and Mexico as “the Homeland” at an NSA Senate briefing on Wednesday, presenting a map that united the three nations as one.
At a Senate Judiciary Committee meeting held to acquire details on the National Security Agency’s mass surveillance programs, Sen. Feinstein (D-Calif.) made a geographic mistake in which she united three large countries into one. The error went by without comment during the briefing, but generated a significant response upon closer examination of the map.
For those of you who try to brush this off as a ‘staffer mistake’, we’ve got news for you!
Although it might be easy to brush off the map as nothing more than a mistake made by a staffer, a writer at The Atlantic suggested that it might indicate a potential NSA attempt at tallying thwarted attacks in North America to make anti-terrorism efforts in the US look more successful.
“Normally, this would be written off as a design goof, as one of the NSA’s (newly adept) graphics guys using a little more light blue than he ought,” writes the Atlantic’s Philip Bump. “This being the NSA, we’re not inclined to offer that benefit of the doubt. Is this a way of blending in Canadian and Mexican terror activity disruptions (which, we’ll remind you, is different from actual plots interrupted) to give a larger sense of the NSA’s success at halting terrorism within our borders?”

Democratic pollster Pat Caddell appeared on Fox News to discuss the latest revelations on the Benghazi terror attacks of September 11, 2012. Caddell accused the White House of being involved in a cover-up of the events leading up to the attack and the aftermath. He also accused Speaker of the House John Boehner of purposely avoiding any attempts to hold the Obama Administration accountable:
“We have John Boehner, who has been purposely suppressing anything about Benghazi because he knew what we found out this week. And he approved it.”
Caddell accused the CIA of illegally running guns out of the Benghazi annex to Syrian rebels and he alleged Boehner approved of the plan.
This video, just released on July 30th by George Hemminger, shares of a strange new development popping up across Los Angeles; it appears that a ‘Berlin type wall’ is being built in various locations across the city. The picture below was emailed to Beforeitsnews by a concerned reader who has seen what he believed to be a FEMA train during a ‘very strange day’ in Tallahassee, Florida. FEMA trains have become an internet ‘conspiracy theory’ sensation, dating back many years to a report of one of these EXACT same trains being equipped with shackles and guillotines. Though now deeply entwined with ‘conspiracy theory lore’, many have said that these trains are merely ‘car carriers‘ and have nothing at all to do with FEMA death camps and everything that they have been associated with on the internet. In fact, FEMA trains have supposedly been debunked, or have they?
According to our reader, the same day that he saw this ‘FEMA train’, other strange things were also happening, including the closing of several banks in the area and very unusual air traffic, including lot of military aircraft flying out of Tallahassee regional. Among those aircraft included F-16′s, F-22′s, unmarked C-130′s and “some that look like C-130′s but definitely foreign” and lots of UH60 blackhawks as well as DHS Blackhawks, “though mostly late at night, I’m sure to keep out of sight, out of mind.” We also know for sure of recent military drills in Miami and other locations in Florida and with the explosion of a propane plant last night in Flordia, suspicions have rightly been raised. I’ve wondered what would happen if puppet Obama declared martial law in respect to our military. Would they back him or their fellow citizens?
They, the puppet masters, can’t be sure the rank and file military members would turn on their own countrymen. We may be seeing what their plan is…to greatly reduce the rank and file!
Obama has already replaced many of the top brass but with the military at full strength he cannot be sure the troops will obey the orders of his stooge commanders.
So, the plan is apparently to reduce the number of US troops (in response to manufactured budgetary problems) and rely on foreign troops for martial law implementation.
We’ve seen the reports about foreign troops in the US and along the Mexican border.

This is from a friend in Midland Texas. We have been sighting Russian/ Eastern European, young military aged males around town. Many have been seen going door to door selling children’s books, others have been seen at coffee shops and restaurants. Some have even been reported to have asked local police if they could have their picture taken with them, the officers declined their request. Midland Texas rarely sees Russian/ Eastern Europeans in the area. ATTACHED IS A PICTURE OF THE ”LATVIAN” Book Seller in the statement below.
At 18:35 on Tuesday the 29th of July, Midland County, TX
A young “Latvian”‘ as I would learn later was casing my neighborhood. I live in a subdivision filled with lots of young families and older retirees. I witnessed this individual looking for prospective houses as I was coming home from work. I observed the above as I unloaded my tools.
He was clearly looking for clues that indicate children resided at a residence. The only 2 houses on my block with children are mine and my neighbor across the street. He blatantly walked by all the other houses and approached ours. My neighbor was not home.
He rang my doorbell and I answered with the door partially opened. You can see his physical appearance in the attached photo. He had a very distinct eastern block accent and slender build and rigid posture.
He didn’t immediately introduce himself, he opened with questions:
“I noticed you have young children, would you like to hear about some educational programs (books)I am offering.”
At this point He reached in his pack for a brochure which inadvertently revealed a map of my subdivision which was clearly marked with houses which I know have small children.
Without waiting for an answer he asked how old my children were and if I was happy with their current school (trying to discern what school they attended)
I interrupted him and said “I am not interested in anything you are (air fingers quote) selling. Please leave now.
He persisted and asked if my wife or I made the decisions for the kids education and should he come back at a later time.
This time I stepped out of my doorway and looked down the block for his comrades. I asked where he was from and he replied “Latvia”.
I asked what a Latvian student knew about American education and what qualified him to be an expert in American education as he was only a student himself and from a foreign country. He was silent and had no reply. I asked him politely to leave my property again.
He resisted and began to speak. At this point I was in his personal space. I looked him in the eye and told him the following.
“I know who you are. I know what you are doing and who you work for. You and your comrades need to leave the area immediately. I will not ask politely again.”
He stared at me with a cold evil stare and almost a smirk that was pure evil.
He turned silently and walked away at which point I grabbed my cell phone and took his picture.
He was visibly disturbed and asked (with a much different tone and thicker accent) why I did that.
I proceeded to tell him that I can do whatever I want on my property. He asked if I would like to see his permit.
I laughed and said “Your permit means nothing to me.” He stepped on my yard and I issued very stern and very loud LEAVE NOW. He back pedaled out of my yard but remained locked on my eyes. I absolutely would not look away first. He turned from me and walked south down my street and was out of sight in a matter if minutes. He did have a cell phone which he used right after the photo.
Observations:
He was trained for intel gathering. The slightest bit of resistance flustered him and he had to deviate from his script which made him uncomfortable.
His questions are loaded by design. I never have him an answer to anything he asked.
He DID NOT expect to be exposed. That was the tell tale sign that he was not who he represented.
I warned every neighbor and friend of these guys and advised them. I have circulated his picture all over my community.
A neighbor indicated he had seen him before with a group at a restaurant. All reading maps and comparing notes. Arrogance is astounding.
I prayed all night and didn’t sleep well. The evil is real and it is here. The Apache helicopters at night and low flying C-130s are occurring almost weekly now. All around our oil fields. It’s no secret anymore. Pray and prepare and organize. The time draws near my friends. Look out for one another and pray for victory.
