This is an example from FOX News Channel but this is standard practice for all of television disinformation interviews.

Normally Hannity and Colmes take different sides on an issue but notice in this case they both try to denigrate the guest and by extension his views.

Hannity and O’Reilly, both Catholics, are masters at this on FOX . I’ve often gotten irritated with them as I’ve noticed they rarely let the guest make their point, often interrupting and ridiculing them. Now I know it’s a tactic, not just their personalities.
