States allow GE & others to keep state taxes they collect from employees

The news is worse and worse and worse everyday! When I first started posting on this blog there were several stories a week about government abuse and corruption, now there are more stories in a day than I can keep up with. I’m convinced the present system cannot be reformed, the corruption is too pervasive.

We need to start from scratch, do away with every federal, state, and local government agency, and every law not mentioned in the Constitution and just go from there. If it’s not in the constitution forget it!

GE Now Keeping Their Employees State Taxes

That is correct General Motor’s they of the no taxes federally and big tax breaks from yours and my hard earned dollars are not enough, oh no, they are keeping the State taxes they take from your paycheck with the blessing of many, many States. I as an American expect that taxes collected from my paycheck are to go to the County, State and Federal Government to pay for their Constitutional purposes. What we have seen this past week with this story and the one of the GSA is that our hard earned, sweated through work and the hijacking of our money is being used for every thing but what is Constitutional.

The Democrats held a vote today to take more money from those who have earned it to give to pikers in the federal government and communist run businesses who are living like millionaires off of our dollars. The sickness in the soul of our country is so deep and so outrageous that indeed it is time for firings and down right deletion of entire agencies of the Federal and again at the State and I am sure the county levels of our entire country.

When States decide that to keep a company in their State by allowing that company to ILLEGALLY collect taxes from their employees and then pocket those taxes without giving them to the taxman it is proof that the country and these collectivist businesses have got to go. There is no more “to big to fail” there can only be, a hatchet taken to the budgets of all federal, state, and county agencies, period. To ask ANY American of any financial condition to give more to those who disrespect and treat government as their personal bank accounts is to turn a blind eye to the thieves that are at every level of government Taxed By Your Boss? #Shame

The report from Good Jobs First, a nonprofit taxpayer watchdog organization funded by Ford, Surdna and other major foundations, identifies 16 states that let companies divert some or all of the state income taxes deducted from workers’ paychecks. None of the states requires notifying the workers, whose withholdings are treated as taxes they paid.

General Electric, Goldman Sachs, Procter & Gamble, Chrysler, Ford, General Motors and AMC Theatres enjoy deals to keep state taxes deducted from their workers’ paychecks, the report shows. Foreign companies also enjoy such arrangements, including Electrolux, Nissan, Toyota and a host of Canadian, Japanese and European banks, Good Jobs First says.

Why do state governments do this? Public records show that large companies often pay little or no state income tax in states where they have large operations, as this column has documented. Some companies get discounts on property, sales and other taxes. So how to provide even more subsidies without writing a check? Simple. Let corporations keep the state income taxes deducted from their workers’ paychecks for up to 25 years.

The insanity that inflicts the politicians of America is immorality, the fix is firing and then hiring those who will indeed be good stewards of the hard earned dollars of every American. I live for the day in my lifetime when actual TRUE CAPITALISM is restored in this great nation and the government agencies from big to small act like public servants and not prince’s and princesses!

  1. "Pissed" means "drunk". Do you mean "pissed off"? This phrase is used to convey a feeling of disatisfaction and frustration, which is the meaning I think you intend. While I'm at it "momentarily" doesn't mean "IN" a short time, it means "FOR" a short time. And when you Americans say "I could care less" don't you mean "I COULDN'T care less"? Blimey I sound like Mr Grimshaw my old English teacher...
