NCGOP Congratulates Gov. Perdue on Latest Job Creation Announcement
Dear Fellow North Carolinian,
Last week Governor Perdue hired an Obama political operative to work on her reelection campaign, and committed to paying him $120,000 a year. The press release sent by our communications director immediately following this news is below, and I hope you'll take a minute to read it if you haven't seen it already.
I know I'm certainly relieved that the governor is taking her role so seriously and working hard to win a second term instead of working with Republicans in the state legislature to balance the budget. I'm sure you will agree that it is ridiculous!
With nearly 10% unemployment, Governor Perdue should be working to create a business climate that allows the private sector to grow and create jobs—not increasing her personal staff. But she has shown time and time again that the only job she is concerned with his her own.
