Mobilizing would-be protesters against dictatorship - seems easy no? It's not exactly a cause with a lot of grassroots support. But the monkeywrench thrown into the mix, in the case of Venezuela, where a day of protests against dictatorship will originate in this Sunday, may be that many don't see their leader as a dictator. And when it comes to using social networks to mobilize people onto the streets, Chavez' hefty Twitter presence of his own is a force to reckon with.
Yet a group of Venezuelans are doing what they can to energize people within the country and abroad, and hope to see a respectable turnout on the streets this weekend.
