1. Sunday 24 Oct 10 One Minute Prayer:
Let Us Pray. Almighty God, we pray for the Mayor of Rowlett, Texas, John Harper who emailed me this week saying he is being pressured by atheist complainers at the Freedom from Religion Foundation to cancel invocations during the city council meetings.
From Joshua 1:9 we pray Mayor Harper would be strong and courageous and not terrified or discouraged by these atheists who hate Jesus, for the Lord will be with him and the city council for standing firm and defending free speech, and especially for standing up to allow prayers offered in Jesus Name, Amen.
