It is a tad unfortunate that just days after the White House embraced the term "Obamacare" - previously regarded on the Left as a pejorative label - a majority of the nine Supreme Court justices have given strong indications they will rule it unconstitutional.

Even more ironic is that the justices, or five of them at least, look like they might force President Barack Obama back to the drawing board partly on the basis of the argument one Senator Obama made against then Senator Hillary Clinton in 2008.

At issue today was the so-called 'individual mandate" - the federal government's act of compelling Americans to buy health insurance. It is the centrepiece of the Affordable Health Care Act - aka Obamacare - which is the signature achievement of Obama's presidency thus far.

But back during the 2008 campaign, Obama argued strenuously against the individual mandate. In a debate in South Carolina, he said: "A mandate means that in some fashion, everybody will be forced to buy health insurance. ... But I believe the problem is not that folks are trying to avoid getting health care. The problem is they can't afford it. And that's why my plan emphasises lowering costs."

In February 2008, he said that you could no more solve the issue of the uninsured with an individual mandate than you could cure homelessness by ordering people to buy a home:

This was one of the policies that allowed him to differentiate himself from Clinton and John Edwards, the serial sleazeball who (believe it or not given what we now know he was up to) had a pretty good shot at winning the Democratic nomination.

Obama felt so strongly about the issue that he even cut an ad attacking Clinton for her support of the individual mandate. "Hillary Clinton's attacking, but what's she not telling you about her health care plan?" the April 2008 ad asked. "It forces everyone to buy insurance, even if you can't afford it, and you pay a penalty if you don't."

Excerpt from WND email: Almost half of registered voters tell pollsters they don't believe Obama’s birth certificate is authentic, almost no one in the media – outside of WND – will touch the story.

When the first official U.S. law enforcement investigation into the matter, led by Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, established "probable cause" that the document released with great fanfare by the White House last April is a computer-generated forgery, a virtual media blackout on the investigation ensued.

Even when one of the six-month investigation's bombshell findings – that the family of unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers allegedly funded "foreign student" Barack Obama through Harvard Law School – was rated by Internet ranking service Alexa.com as one of the top-read news stories in the entire world (thanks to coverage by WND and the Drudge Report), both the establishment press and the "conservative" media looked the other way.

Here are a few recent examples:•  Shortly after Arpaio's March 1 press conference, a popular column discussing Obama’s eligibility to serve as president was published on Townhall.com – which bills itself as the "leading conservative and political opinion website" – but then, the column inexplicably disappeared from the site.Titled "Sheriff Joe Exposes Forgery of Obama's Selective Service Registration," by Floyd and Mary Beth Brown of the Western Center For Journalism, it had been Townhall's eighth-most-read and most-emailed column that day. Then suddenly it was gone – and WND's requests for comment failed to elicit any explanation from Townhall.

•  Then another regular Townhall columnist, Diana West, wrote "Why the Silence About Obama's Historic Scam?"but found that it wasn't posted on Townhall at all. Worse, it was déjà vu for West, whose previous column on the same topic likewise was spiked.When WND asked West why her last two columns on the subject of Obama's eligibility weren't posted on Townhall, she responded: "This week's empty hole where my column on media silence on Sheriff Arpaio's press conference would normally go, like last month's empty hole where my column on the Atlanta court proceeding on eligibility would normally go, speak for themselves."

•  Recently, a top Breitbart.com editor said he believed "there's no evidence" to support allegations questioning Obama's eligibility as president, adding, "It’s a waste of resources, and it’s a waste of time."

•  Forbes online recently published a provocative article by John Mariotti, titled, "Is There An Imposter In The White House?" It started off this way: "There is something very wrong when the sitting president refuses to divulge huge pieces of information about his background. What is he hiding? Maybe the 'birthers' were a little extreme, but is there something wrong with this 'manufactured candidate,' whose history remains sealed from public view? What is he hiding? Could the 'Hawaii birth certificate' be a forgery? Is there something much worse – like 'sponsorship' by an unnamed special interest? I don’t know. I do know that the man in the White House now is an imposter." But guess what? Shortly after it was posted, Forbes inexplicably took the story off its site. But you may read it here.

•  What about Fox News? When it was announced that talk radio powerhouse "Mancow" Muller would be featured in two one-hour Fox TV specials called "Mancow TV Worldwide,"the radio host specifically requested that WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi be his first guest. Corsi, a two-time No. 1 New York Times bestselling author and Harvard Ph.D., was set to discuss Iran and Israel, as well as globalism. When Fox was setting up the time for Corsi to be interviewed on Muller's debut show, he was specifically prohibited by the show's producers from discussing anything to do with the constitutional eligibility questions still plaguing Obama.

Corsi has been the nation's top investigative journalist on the Obama eligibility issue and is the author of the New York Times bestseller "Where's the Birth Certificate?" As such, he played a central role in introducing the issue to Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The sheriff's investigative team recently completed the first phase of an ongoing law-enforcement investigation into the many vexing and totally unvetted issues of Obama's past that bear directly on the legality of his serving as president.

Corsi agreed to the restrictions on the Mancow interview, and the Fox segment was taped and scheduled for broadcast.But then, Corsi's publicist received a call from the show's producer saying network executives had viewed the segment and determined that it "didn't fit," and thus would be scrubbed.

"It's clear censorship at Fox," according to Corsi, who says it's apparent the network didn't want an appearance by anyone even linked to the Obama investigation, and claims it confirms the various reports that the mainstream media are censoring reports on Obama's eligibility.

"Fox does not want to cover the Obama eligibility issue," he said. "It's a clear indication Fox is moving to the left. [Owner Rupert] Murdoch must be under increasing political pressure …"

Corsi added, "This confirms stories we've been gathering about the threats (against reporting on Obama's eligibility)," he said. "In fact, it's reaching such a level of censorship that it's of interest to the sheriff's posse."

He was referring to the "Cold Case Posse" of law-enforcement professionals and attorneys assembled by Arpaio, who announced the results of their six-month investigation on March 1.

Arpaio's investigation continues, but at the news conference announcing the initial results, lead investigator Mike Zullo stated, somewhat ominously: "During our investigation, we actually were told [that media] had been threatened with FTC investigations [if they continued reporting on eligibility]. Commentators [had been] threatened with their jobs."

The threats were so intimidating that some individuals quit their positions over safety concerns for their families, Zullo confirmed.

A popular column on Townhall.com – the self-described “leading conservative and political opinion website” – discussing Barack Obama’s eligibility to serve as president has unexplainably disappeared.

Earlier today, the column “Sheriff Joe Exposes Forgery of Obama’s Selective Service Registration” by Floyd and Mary Beth Brown of The Western Center For Journalism was Townhall.com’s most emailed and eighth most read column.

But then … it was gone.

Even after WND alerted Townhall.com’s managing editor that the column had been deleted from its site, it remained listed as “cannot be found.” And despite multiple contacts with the site’s editorial staff, no one at Townhall.com would explain to WND why the column was removed.

A Google cache, meanwhile, still displays the Browns’ original Townhall.com column. (Not now, it’s been deleted from Google cache too)

Having just attended Sheriff Joe Arpaio's "Cold Case Posse" news conference in Phoenix, Ariz., we candidly admit we have never seen a greater example of raw media bias in our 30 years of watching the fourth estate.

Arpaio organized the cold case five-member law enforcement posse last year to investigate allegations that the Obama birth certificate released to the public by the White House on April 27, 2011 might be a forgery, and he said he constituted the posse after a request by 250 Maricopa County citizens.

In less than an hour, Arpaio's team laid out a compelling case that individuals working under the President of the United States have engaged in criminal forgery. And most interestingly, the case isn't just about Obama's birth certificate.

The case against Obama was made with simple, clear videos describing the techniques the forgers used to falsifying important documents released by Obama's team. It was obvious that the law enforcement professionals doing the actual investigation are real pros. If you want the details of the techniques used you can watch the videos on Westernjournalism.com.

The Arpaio team devastated the legitimacy of Obama's purported birth certificate from Hawaii. The investigation by document forensic experts systematically showed how the document could not be real and is part of a criminal conspiracy to commit fraud.

But we found the most interesting information presented to have nothing to do with the Obama nativity story. Instead it had to do with the selective service records. Forensic document analysis proved this document was also a forgery. Intensive documentation proving that Postal indicia on the form was forged was particularly damaging, as this type of postal fraud is a federal felony.

In the days ahead, it will be interesting to see if the mainstream media provides any coverage of the event's allegations. Sitting in the room we were overwhelmed by the professionalism of these sworn officers of the law. They clearly used the best experts in their investigation. Finally a legitimate law enforcement official has looked at the evidence and found, as Arpaio said, "probable cause that a felony has been committed."

Going forward, Arpaio said that he would continue to investigate. Allusions were made to the existence of over 200 sworn depositions by witnesses in the case, including a witness that, when he met Barack Obama was introduced to him, as a foreign exchange student.

Obama's team responded with ridicule, not answers. His campaign tweeted links to an old episode of the X-Files TV show. But ridicule in the face of legitimate questions only works so long.

Citizens are still daring to ask questions about Obama. And by doing it you face certain ridicule, name calling and being treated as children. Even when you may be asking legitimate questions, which have been routinely asked of presidential candidates in the past or have been asked of Republican candidates this year, you are censured.

As WND.com has reported, "Poll after poll in recent months has indicated that Americans have a high level of concern over Barack Obama's eligibility to be president; with one poll showing fully half of the nation wants Congress to investigate the question." But to date, nothing has been done.

Let's hope the US Congress can have the courage of Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Is everybody in the US media in the tank or have they been intimidated, coerced, or extorted to such an extent that they won’t cover the story?

One conservative internet news site had the story for a few hours and suddenly scrubbed it from their site.

I don’t think even the late night comics are touching this story. They won’t even joke about it!

There is something very strange about the story of Obama’s birth when even major conservative media figures won’t touch it.

Rush has only alluded to Obama’s birth once in a great while and never more than a passing comment. I don’t recall Hannity ever even doing that.

I don’t recall either of them covering Sheriff Joe’s news conference, and it’s an official law enforcement investigation!

Russian media expose Obama birth 'forgery'

• But American news agencies still absent on presidential scandal

While many U.S. mainstream media outlets spike news about the Obama eligibility investigation, Russia’s government radio is keeping the world abreast of the scandal that has caused “the biggest censorship and blackout in the history of journalism.”

The Voice of Russia – successor of Radio Moscow, the official station of the Soviet Union – published an exclusive interview with Sheriff Joe Arpaio March 26 titled, “Obama’s birth certificate may be forgery.” As WND reported, Arpaio and his Cold Case Posse announced there is probable cause indicating the documents released by the White House last April purported to be Obama’s original, long-form birth certificate and Selective Service registration card are actually forgeries.

“Wherever I go, people commend me for doing this,” Arpaio told The Voice of Russia. “So, naturally this has been probably the biggest censorship and blackout in the history of journalism when no one from the national level will cover the story.”

He continued, “You know, when I do something, whether it is [inaudible] pink underwear or chain gangs, what I feed to inmates, that goes national. I’ve been on 4,000 international profiles, international and national, and yet this has been has been blacked out when I’m investigating this situation.”

Arpaio’s investigation into Obama’s constitutional eligibility was rated last week by Internet ranking service Alexa.com as one of the most-read news stories in the entire world – due almost entirely to coverage by WND and the Drudge Report – not only the establishment press, but most of the “conservative” media as well, looked the other way.

WND recently reported Russian news website Pravda published an accusation that the American media is “tame,” afraid to publish news and is “deliberately hiding the evidence published on the internet about [President Obama's] defrauding of the American public and the deliberate evisceration of the Constitution of the United States.”

However, in the recent The Voice of Russia interview, the Russian host argued that the Obama eligibility issue has been covered by “hundreds” of U.S. news outlets for years – after both Donald Trump and Arpaio brought up the question.

“Well, I wish you would tell me who they are. I’m sure it’s not national. CBS, ABC, cable?” Arpaio asked. “Just show me who has been covering it. They haven’t been covering. I’m not going to get into inside sources that say that they don’t want to cover it, that’s another issue when we are talking about the media. But where is all the news? You are calling me, you are dealing with Russia, so I have to talk to Russia to get this story out.”

Arpaio explained that he is on cable news outlets regularly to talk about other issues, but producers are not calling him to ask questions about the Cold Case Posse investigation.

“You would think this will be an interest, especially the latest investigation on the Selective Service card that I just put out. … I don’t see any major outlets talking about it.”

He noted that major media outlets showed up to his March 1 press conference merely to scoff at his efforts to hold Obama accountable.

“They showed up to insult me and not look at the facts of the evidence that we put on the screen,” he said. “They didn’t question the evidence, which is interesting. They wanted to question what my motives were.”

Arpaio refuted allegations that the Cold Case Posse investigation has anything to do with his own efforts to be re-elected.

“I’ve been elected and re-elected five times,” he said. “I sure don’t need this to get elected this year, believe me. I can get elected on pink underwear that I make the inmates wear. I sure don’t need this issue. I’m doing something that I know might be rather controversial. But when people came to me and asked to look into it, why not give it to my volunteer posse? So, I did. And I told them I want you to clear the president on this birth certificate, but they’re coming up with evidence that’s not clearing the president. That’s the way it is in law enforcement.”

Arpaio explained that any layperson could conclude that the birth certificate Obama presented online is a forgery.

“Well, we’ve done our research,” he said. “I think any amateur could look at what we presented and come to the theory that it is not the true birth certificate.”

Arpaio added, “You know, I don’t run Hawaii, so I presume that we will be writing to Hawaii. And you know, from Day 1 all I said – to clear the air, let’s look at the microfilm in Hawaii, if the president was born in that hospital, look at the microfilm and prove it, that’s all. We have two other twins that were born the day after and the day before. The microfilm shows that they were born, so let’s see the microfilm – forget the birth certificate, if that’s an argument. Show the microfilm, and that clears the air. Where is the microfilm?”

Justices on the U.S. Supreme Court, caught up in the high-profile Obamacare arguments that started today, have refused to intervene in a case in which deputies threatened parents with the forced removal of their children unless they agreed to let social workers, who did not have a warrant or probable case, search their home.

The stunning conclusion came in a lawsuit brought on behalf of John and Tiffany Loudermilk, who sued officials after a confrontation at their Maricopa County, Ariz., home in 2005.

A district court judge ruled a reasonable person would believe the Loudermilks’ decision to allow social workers to search their home was coerced, in violation of the 4th Amendment. But the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the search was proper.

The case may not be finished, as the opinion from the 9th Circuit was unpublished, which means that it is not binding on future cases. Also, when the deputies appealed to the 9th Circuit for immunity, the social workers who also were sued did not, and that part of the case remains on hold at the district court level.

James Mason, chief counsel for the Home School Legal Defense Association, which brought the case on behalf of the family, told WND that the group will consult with the family and soon make a determination on the next step.

But he said the result is disappointing, because no matter the status of the appeal, the situation did develop, and the threats were made to give the social workers what they wanted.

The HSLDA described the situation: “For 40 terrifying minutes, this homeschooling couple had asserted their Fourth Amendment right to be free from an unreasonable search of their home. The two investigative social workers were eventually joined by six uniformed sheriff’s deputies who were called because the social workers considered the Loudermilks to be ‘uncooperative.’”

Then social workers played their “ace-in-the-hole” and threatened the parents that their five children would be placed in state custody immediately if they did not allow the search.

The case developed after a still-anonymous tipster told authorities that there was a danger to the children in the new home. Two months later, social services arrived unannounced at the home and explained that it was an emergency because social workers decided it was an emergency at that point.

“In the two months between receiving the anonymous report and arriving unannounced on the Loudermilks’ front porch, social services clearly never believed that the situation needed emergency intervention,” HSLDA asserted. “No one ever asked a judge for a court order. But when it came time for the social workers to complete their investigation, the family’s Fourth Amendment rights just got in the way.”

It was social workers Rhonda Cash and Jenna Cramer who appeared at the home unannounced and threatened to take the family’s five children.

“She (Cash) appeared to believe that her simple inability to determine the children’s living conditions was sufficient grounds for her to remove the children from their parents,” the petition to the high court explained. That’s even though the social workers were allowed to talk to the children to see that they were fine.

The social workers called on the deputies to reinforce the threats with the force of law.

“Faced with unrelenting ultimatum that the officers would physically remove the children from the home unless they were admitted, together with a significant show of force, John felt that he had no option besides allowing the search of his home. He believed that he would be arrested and the children removed if he continued to refuse… Tiffany believed her children would be immediately removed from the home if she did not allow the social workers and officers to search her home,” the appeal stated.

The ultimate search took only minutes and uncovered no issues, showing that the “tip” was wrong.

“In this case, the lead law enforcement officer concluded that there was no basis for suggesting that exigent circumstances existed which would support a warrantless entry,” the brief explained.

Mason suggested that the outcome of the confrontation could provide a ripple effect for families confronted by authorities investigating anonymous tips in a variety of scenarios.

Warning: This column contains news of evidence of possible forgery and fraud in the long-form birth certificate of the president of the United States and – bonus – his Selective Service registration card.

I figure the warning is necessary to prevent Americans, particularly Americans who work in news media and politics, from hurting themselves on any hard, sharp facts that might poke through my discussion of what is surely the biggest scandal to emerge around the seemingly dodgy docs Barack Obama is using to verify his identity.

I refer to the logic- and history-defying news and political blackout of the March 1 press conference called in Maricopa County, Ariz., by Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse.

I ask you: Have you read in your local paper about the technical evidence that led the posse’s three retired criminal investigators and two attorneys to conclude that the birth certificate image White House officials uploaded at the White House website on April 27, 2011, did not originate in a paper format, but rather was created (forged) as an electronic file on a computer?

Have you seen on network or cable news the video clip (one of six posse videos at YouTube) re-creating exactly how an additional fraud might have been committed to forge the president’s Selective Service registration card? Heard even conservative talk radio discussing the posse’s discovery that immigration files in the National Archives recording overseas arrivals into Hawaii are missing from the week of Obama’s 1961 birthday? Or about the retired mailman’s affidavit attesting that the mother of ex-Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers enthusiastically told him that she helped with “foreign student” Barack Obama’s education?

I know my ears pricked up when, watching the posse’s press conference online, I heard lead investigator Michael Zullo explain that the 1961 Hawaiian newspaper listings of Barack Obama’s birth confirm nothing because the posse “can prove beyond a doubt” that these newspapers announced arrivals of foreign babies as well as native-born. Zullo also announced the posse had “documented evidence of two adopted individuals who were breathing three years prior” and were similarly listed as newborn infants. Heard anything about that?

I know the answer. You have read, seen and heard nothing – and certainly not a peep from any representatives in Congress. The unique exception seems to be poor Republican Rep. Cliff Stearns of Florida, whose mere mentions (better than nothing) of “examining the evidence” get him insta-hammered by the media and White House alike. Obama’s communications director, Dan Pfeiffer, one of the presenters of the birth certificate at the White House last spring, actually had the gall to call into question via tweet Stearns’ fitness to conduct congressional investigations into the Obama administration’s decision to funnel $535 million into Solyndra, the bankrupt solar company. Why? Because Stearns dared to express interest in evidence amassed by veteran law enforcement professionals under Arpaio, himself a 30-year federal law-enforcement official and five-time-elected sheriff.

“1984″-style, we mustn’t question. We mustn’t look. We certainly mustn’t look at questions that cross the narrative of authority. What are we, free people?

Apparently not. One editor told me the problem is the evidence of fraud might prove to be true! A very famous conservative figure told me that if the president were proved to be an identity thief, “that would alienate too many people” from the Republican Party!

I am reminded of Groucho Marx’s answer to the question, Are we mice or men? “Throw some cheese on the floor and we’ll find out.”

Recently, Breitbart.com’s new editor at large, Ben Shapiro, was on Mark Gillar’s radio show, “Tea Party Power Hour,” promoting his conservative media organization’s “vetting Obama” campaign. Gillar asked Shapiro if “vetting” Obama would include investigating Obama’s birth and/or Selective Service documents. Absolutely not, Shapiro replied, explaining that he didn’t believe this was an issue. “I am discouraging people from spending time on this,” Shapiro said, emphasizing once again that he himself did not believe there were irregularities in the documents since, as he put it, he knew Media Matters would be listening to the interview.

The walls have ears? Shapiro’s concern almost makes Media Matters sound like a secret police outfit with a gulag for journalists who ask too many questions. In reality, it’s an ideologically driven, left-wing attack group funded by ideologically driven, left-wing George Soros.

Shapiro continued, quite candidly: “It’s an issue on which people are being marginalized very easily and very quickly at this point.”

Marginalized by whom? The Soros-funded attack machine? The liberal-dominated “mainstream media”? Fox News-dominated conservative media? The Obama White House?

Clearly, something has us all on lockdown. That’s much, much scarier than even the amazing possibility that some con artist might be pulling off the biggest scam in history.

What about Breitbart? Why has his murder been totally forgotten?

Where’s the coverage? Where are the other videos? This is maddening. What are the odds that 43 year old Andrew Breitbart just dropped dead in the wee hours of morning of the very day he was to release videos ‘damning’ to the most powerful, most connected man in the whole world, Barak Hussein Obama?

What are the chances that he didn’t have those videos? Why haven’t more been released? It’s almost April, it’s been 4 weeks, where are the videos.

It’s been a non-event!

Either he didn’t have them, his team is just waiting to release them, or they were intimidated into not releasing them. But where are those who should be asking?

The most obvious answer is that they have been intimidated too!

This is remarkably similar to the silence of the media regarding Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s press conference to release the ‘cold case posse’s’ findings in their official investigation into the birth certificate released by the most powerful, most connected man in the whole world, Barak Hussein Obama.

Madeleine Albright, understandably I might add, was once mistaken for a hotel cleaning lady

According to reports by ABC News, the New York Daily News and other agencies, “When a bunch of Albanians mistook Madeleine Albright for a hotel cleaning lady, the secretary of state spewed a most-undiplomatic, and untranslatable, stream of invective.”

A State Department spokesman wouldn’t comment on the Daily News report that Albright was mistaken for a maid during peace negotiations for Kosovo in Rambouillet, France.

Albright at first wasn’t recognized by the Albanian delegation when she walked into their room, the paper said.

“One member of the delegation, who didn’t realize who she was, and probably thinking she was some cleaning lady because it was after midnight, simply said to her, ‘Give us five minutes and please go away,’” recalled Albanian diplomat Dugagjin Gorani in “War on Europe,” a British TV program.

Instead, Albright exploded in rage, swearing at the group, according to the reports. “Mrs. Albright started using explicit language which the translators never could translate into Albanian,” said Veton Surroi, another member of the delegation.

The Obama Malaise

I think Carter’s was incompetence, but Obama’s is intentional. He is planning (his orders are) to destroy the American way of life! Look at his mentors and his benefactors!
