Wow, previous story about a giant UK bank limiting withdrawals followed by this China bank story…make that non-story

Well this is odd, the link to Forbes is broken and I can’t find it on their site but another website (marketwatch.com) references it in their report: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/china-halts-transfers-at-citi-other-banks-report-2014-01-26

Zerohedge reports that Forbes got it all wrong and took the story down. The Forbes reporter simply misunderstood the Chinese culture when he came upon the story, after all, this is not the normal ‘three day weekend’ bank holiday. It looks like there is no story here…

This is a good example of why it’s necessary to check sources in a story. That’s not to say that Before It's News and marketwatch.com didn’t, (many other websites also posted it) they did because it did appear in Forbes but by the time I saw it Forbes had taken the story down.

So this is apparently a non-story! Maybe…

So why am I posting this? Why didn’t I just delete it when I found that Forbes took it down? Well, I ran across the story and went to the trouble of copying and pasting it to Windows Live Writer and coming up with a headline for posting it to my blog, it’s interesting, and there is that ‘maybe’ element to it, after all, it is an unusually lengthy holiday down time. Taken with the HSBC story there may just be more here than meets the eye.

Before It's News: China Halts Bank Cash Transfers: Forbes

(Before It's News)  Sunday, January 26, 2014 15:59

BeforeIt’sNews: According to this breaking story from Forbes.com, China has halted all bank cash transfers as shared in the story below. WHY would China’s central bank ORDER commercial banks to put an end to cash transfers? Is this the next step in the global currency war? Could this lead to WW3 as is now being argued by some? With America already practically ‘owned’ by China and getting more in debt every year, this can’t be a good thing. Video reports on China’s money problems also below:

Forbes: The People’s Bank of China , the central bank, has just ordered commercial banks to halt cash transfers.

In short, there will be a three-day suspension of domestic renminbi transfers. There will also be a suspension, spanning nine calendar days, of conversions of renminbi to foreign currency.

The specific reason given—“system maintenance” at the central bank—is preposterous.  It is not credible that during the highest usage period in the year—the weeklong Lunar New Year holiday beginning January 31—the central bank would schedule an upgrade and shut down cash transfers.

A better explanation is that the country’s banking system is running dry.  Yes, there is an increased need for money in the run-up to and during the Lunar New Year holiday, but that is only a small factor.  After all, central bank officials knew this spike in demand was coming—it occurs every year at this time—and a core function of central banks is to manage seasonal liquidity fluctuations.  Moreover, the holiday has not started yet, and the PBOC, as that institution is known, could have added more liquidity to meet cash needs.

Zerohedge: No, There Is No Stoppage Of Cash Transfers In China

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 01/26/2014 21:35 -0500

Earlier today, Forbes managed to spook readers with a bombastic report that China's commercial banks had been instructed by the PBOC to halt cash transfers - something which would have dire implications on China's banking system ahead of its new year holiday, and send the banking system into a tailspin just as China is desperate to avoid all turbulence ahead of a potential shadow banking default.

Leaving aside the fact that one should typically rely on official PBOC advisories, posted quite clearly on its website (where one finds no mention of this notice), one could simply keep track of interbank liquidity indicators such as repo and SHIBOR, both of which dropped, indicating that liquidity actually improved.

Anyway, here is what really happened, as reported by China Compass. "Forbes columnist Gordon Chang claimed in a much-quoted item today that the Peoples Bank of China had instructed commercial banks to halt cash transfers. Chang's column, entitled “China Halts Bank Transfers,” specifically refers to Citibank's Chinese branches. The report is entirely misleading." Our advice - focus on the real "weakest links" in China's banking system, of which there are many and are backed by facts, not the least of which is the potential upcoming shadow banking default. Ignore groundless rumors and speculation.

More from China Compass:

According to Citibank China Customer Service, the bank is conducting a routine system upgrade over the first few days of the upcoming New Year bank holiday. System maintenance of this sort has occurred several times in the past. The PBOC has not—repeat not—asked Citibank to stop customers from wiring funds. Customers can still log on to their account to put in fund transfer requests at any time. The receiving bank (non-Citibank) will process the funds to be transferred on the next business day, as it always does. Because of the Lunar New Year break, the next business day is Friday Feb. 7. This is no different from the practice of banks throughout the world. Chang's understanding of Chinese culture evidently does not extend to the timing of bank holidays.

January 30, 2014 4PM is the afternoon of the Chinese New Year eve. Nobody will be around by 5PM as the Hong Kong stock exchange has a half-day trading day.

Citibank's customer web site offered the following notice:

Important Notice:
1. Due to the system maintenance of People's Bank of China, Domestic RMB Fund Transfer through Citibank (China) Online and Citi Mobile will be delayed during January 30th 2014, 16:00pm to February 2nd 2014, 18:30pm. As to the fund availability at the receiving bank, it depends on the processing requirements and turnaround time of the receiving bank. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
2. During Spring Festival, Foreign Currency Transfer Transaction through Citibank (China) Online and Citi Mobile will be temporally not available from January 30, 2014 18:00pm to February 7, 2014 09:00am. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
If you have any enquiries, please reach us via our 24-hour banking hotline at 800-830-1880 or credit card hotline at 400-821-1880. If you are calling from other parts of the world, please reach us at 86-20-38801267 for banking services or 86-21-38969500 for credit card services.

All that said, China certainly has all too real liquidity (and solvency) problems - none of which have anything to do with a suicidal act by the PBOC - as explained here extensively in the prior weeks and months, captured best by the fact that both China's and HSBC's CDS are both at multi-month highs.

Bank-Run Fears as HSBC Restricts Large Cash Withdrawals, ask customers to prove need

This is a British multinational banking and financial services company headquartered in London, England, United Kingdom, it has millions of customers.

They are treating large withdrawals the way they treat loans! They’re acting as though the money is theirs, not the depositors!

Makes you wonder what’s next!!!

HSBC imposes restrictions on large cash withdrawals

By Bob Howard Reporter, Money Box
HSBC bank sign
HSBC customers requiring large cash withdrawals may be asked what they want the money for.

Personal Banking

Some HSBC customers have been prevented from withdrawing large amounts of cash because they could not provide evidence of why they wanted it, the BBC has learnt.

Listeners have told Radio 4's Money Box they were stopped from withdrawing amounts ranging from £5,000 to £10,000.

HSBC admitted it has not informed customers of the change in policy, which was implemented in November.

The bank says it has now changed its guidance to staff.

New rules

Stephen Cotton went to his local HSBC branch this month to withdraw £7,000 from his instant access savings account to pay back a loan from his mother.

A year before, he had withdrawn a larger sum in cash from HSBC without a problem.

But this time it was different, as he told Money Box: "When we presented them with the withdrawal slip, they declined to give us the money because we could not provide them with a satisfactory explanation for what the money was for. They wanted a letter from the person involved."

Mr Cotton says the staff refused to tell him how much he could have: "So I wrote out a few slips. I said, 'Can I have £5,000?' They said no. I said, 'Can I have £4,000?' They said no. And then I wrote one out for £3,000 and they said, 'OK, we'll give you that.' "

He asked if he could return later that day to withdraw another £3,000, but he was told he could not do the same thing twice in one day.

He wrote to complain to HSBC about the new rules and also that he had not been informed of any change.

The bank said it did not have to tell him.

"As this was not a change to the Terms and Conditions of your bank account, we had no need to pre-notify customers of the change,"

HSBC wrote.

Frustrated customers

Mr Cotton cannot understand HSBC's attitude: "I've been banking in that bank for 28 years. They all know me in there. You shouldn't have to explain to your bank why you want that money. It's not theirs, it's yours."

Peter from Wiltshire, who wanted his surname withheld, had a similar experience.

He wanted to take out £10 000 cash from HSBC, some to pay to his sons and some to fund his long-haul travel plans.

Peter phoned up the day before to give HSBC notice and everything seemed to be fine.

The next day he got a call from his local branch asking him to pay his sons via a bank payment and to provide booking receipts for his holidays. Peter did not have any booking receipts to show.

The following day he spoke to HSBC again and this time, having examined his account, it said he could withdraw the £10,000.

Belinda Bell is another customer who was initially denied her cash, in her case to pay her builder. She told Money Box she had to provide the builder's quote.

Tell EU and Americans that we sent you Saint Paul 2,000 yrs. ago to take you from darkness, you sent us terrorists to kill us

America engaged in a worldwide war on terror against Al Qaeda in 2001 and somehow that has morphed into the Arab Spring in which Al Qaeda is the big winner and now Al Qaeda is even an ally against the Syrian government. We are in the Matrix!

The US came to the rescue of the Muslims against the USSR in Afghanistan, Bill Clinton led us into war in Eastern Europe to save the Muslims in the Bosnian war, Obama tried to involve us in Syria because Muslims were supposedly being killed by government forces.

Yet, there is not one word about trying to save the Christians in the Middle East and Africa, todays government boggles the mind!

There is no good old fashioned American logic in this, it’s upside down! Something is terribly wrong!

The world's most ancient Christian communities are being destroyed — and no one cares

Christians in the Middle East have been the victims of pogroms and persecution. Where's the outrage in the West?

By Michael Brendan Dougherty | 6:07am ET

Like many Coptic Christians in Egypt, Ayman Nabil Labib had a tattoo of the cross on his wrist. And like 17-year-old men everywhere, he could be assertive about his identity. But in 2011, after Egypt's revolution, that kind of assertiveness could mean trouble.

Ayman's Arabic-language teacher told him to cover his tattoo in class. Instead of complying, the young man defiantly pulled out the cross that hung around his neck, making it visible. His teacher flew into a rage and began choking him, goading the young man's Muslim classmates by saying, "What are you going to do with him?"

Ayman's classmates then beat him to death. False statements were given to police, and two boys were taken into custody only after Ayman's terror-stricken family spoke out.

Ayman's suffering is not an isolated case in Egypt or the region.

The Arab Spring, and to a lesser extent the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, were touted as the catalysts for a major historic shift in the region. From Egypt to Syria to Iraq, the Middle East's dictatorships would be succeeded by liberal, democratic regimes. Years later, however, there is very little liberality or democracy to show. Indeed, what these upheavals have bequeathed to history is a baleful, and barely noticed legacy: The near-annihilation of the world's most ancient communities of Christians.

The persecution of Christians throughout the Middle East, as well as the silence with which it has been met in the West, are the subject of journalist Ed West's Kindle Single "The Silence of Our Friends." The booklet is a brisk and chilling litany of horrors: Discriminatory laws, mass graves, unofficial pogroms, and exile. The persecuted are not just Coptic and Nestorian Christians who have relatively few co-communicants in the West, but Catholics, Orthodox, and Protestants as well.

Throughout the Middle East the pattern is the same. Christians are murdered in mob violence or by militant groups. Their churches are bombed, their shops destroyed, and their homes looted. Laws are passed making them second-class citizens, and the majority of them eventually leave.

In Egypt, a rumor that a Muslim girl was dating a Christian boy led to the burning of multiple churches, and the imposition of a curfew on a local Christian population. Illiterate children were held in police custody for urinating in a trash heap, because an imam claimed that pages quoting the Koran were in the pile and had been desecrated. Again, the persecution resulted in Christian families leaving their homes behind.

In Syria, the situation is even worse. In June 2013, a cluster of Christian villages was totally destroyed. Friar Pierbattista Pizzaballa reported that "of the 4,000 inhabitants of the village of Ghassanieh... no more than 10 people remain."

Two Syrian bishops have been kidnapped by rebel groups. Militants expelled 90 percent of the Christians in the city of Homs. Patriarch Gregorios III of Antioch says that out of a population of 1.75 million, 450,000 Syrian Christians have simply fled their homes in fear.

In Iraq, the story is the same but more dramatic. According to West, between 2004 and 2011 the population of Chaldo-Assyrian Christians fell from over a million to as few as 150,000. In 2006, Isoh Majeed, who advocated the creation of a safe haven for Christians around Nineveh, was murdered in his home. The number of churches in Iraq has declined to just 57, from 300 before the invasion. The decline of Iraq's Christian population since the first Gulf War is roughly 90 percent, with most of the drop occurring since the 2003 invasion.

The U.S. and the U.K. bear some responsibility in this catastrophe, since they oversaw the creation of Iraq's postwar government and did little to protect minority faiths.

West's book touches on the clueless and callous behavior of Western governments in these episodes. U.S. reconstruction aid to Iraq is distributed according to Iraqi laws that discriminate against Christian Iraqis. The U.S. pours billions of foreign aid into Egypt, and yet the Christians in that country are not allowed to build churches (or even so much as repair toilets in them) without explicit permission from the head of state, almost never granted. Last September, the U.S and Britain attempted to make their support of Syrian rebel groups explicit and overt, but at the same time some of these militias wereexecuting a pogrom against Christians.

A Christian shopkeeper in Ma'loula summed it up in a quote to the BBC: "Tell the EU and the Americans that we sent you Saint Paul 2,000 years ago to take you from the darkness, and you sent us terrorists to kill us."

In an email to The Week, Ed West says there are things America and its allies can and should do to aid persecuted Christians:

Western countries should make clear that our friendship, cooperation, aid, and help depends on: 1) Religious freedom, which includes the right to change or leave religions; 2) A secular law that treats all people the same. That was not the case in Mubarak's Egypt, which the U.S. helped to prop up with $500 million a year. That is not the case in Iraq, which under U.S. control instigated sharia into its constitution. That shouldn't be acceptable. In 2022, Qatar will host the World Cup, a country where death for apostasy is still on the statute books. Why aren't we all boycotting it?

The last request does put the plight of Middle Eastern Christians in global context. Western activists and media have focused considerable outrage at Russia's laws against "homosexual propaganda" in the lead-up to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. It would only seem fitting that Westerners would also protest (or at the very least notice) laws that punish people with death for converting to Christianity.

And yet the Western world is largely ignorant of or untroubled by programmatic violence against Christians. Ed West, citing the French philosopher Regis Debray, distils the problem thusly: "The victims are 'too Christian' to excite the Left, and 'too foreign' to excite the Right."

Church leaders outside the Middle East are afraid to speak out, partly because they fear precipitating more violence. (Seven churches were fire-bombed in Iraq after Pope Benedict XVI quoted an ancient criticism of Islam in an academic speech in Germany.) Oddly, unlike Iran, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Russia, the U.S. and the U.K. are the only powers acting in the Middle East that do not take any special interest in the safety of those with whom they have a historical religious affinity.

These are the lands in which Jesus' apostles and their disciples made some of the first Christian converts. In an interview, West pointed out that these communities "were Christian when our ancestors were worshipping trees and stones." Now they are in danger of imminent extinction.

In 2013, Raphael I Sako, the Chaldean Patriarch of Baghdad, said the following at his installation homily, "Still the shadow of fear, anxiety, and death is hanging over our people." He warned: "If emigration continues, God forbid, there will be no more Christians in the Middle East. It will be no more than a distant memory." West's book is a sobering reminder that Western policy has helped shape this grim fate for Middle Eastern Christians — and Western silence allows it to continue.

Duh!: What’s wrong with this unemployment crisis for minority youths picture

How can there be an unemployment crisis when over two hundred CEOs are begging for foreign workers to fill jobs, it makes no sense.

Especially since there is a push on to extend unemployment benefits which keeps people from looking for jobs. If you pay people not to work why would they look for work?

Are these minority youths just not looking for jobs, or are they not getting the information that there are jobs to be had, I mean, what’s up?

I know farmers, builders, chicken, and turkey plants routinely hire illegals so they can pay them lower wages but AT&T, Marriot, etc., pay at least minimum wage, I would think, so why aren’t they hiring minority youths if they have job openings?

Is this a ruse, part of a plan to destroy America? Further influxes of immigrants will continue the process of watering down the traditional American population, destroying the cultural heritage that made America great.

Astonishment: Revered elderly Rabbi’s note naming Jesus as Messiah leaves followers in confusion and disbelief

* Sharon died while I was preparing this post but Messiah Jesus won’t return until after the ‘man of sin’ appears.

This is indeed astonishing, This is one of the Israel’s most prominent rabbis; Mizrahi Haredi rabbi and kabbalist Yitzhak Kaduri. Do you realize how astounding this is?

This is like Joe (You Lie!) Wilson suddenly saying that Barack Obama is his favorite president, only 1000 times less likely.

This is like Adolf Hitler suddenly saying the Jews are the master race, only 100 times less likely.

The Jews nationally rejected Jesus 2000 years ago saying “Away with him, away with him, crucify him!”…The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar”..., …his citizens hated him…saying, We will not have this man to reign over us”, and they have not changed their minds since.

While not as bad as Muslims who literally kill other Muslims who turn to Jesus, the Jewish family who has a child convert to Jesus figuratively kills the child, saying they no longer have that son or daughter, some actually have a funeral!

As long as the US is pumping 3 billion dollars into Israel a year and gives it’s military at their disposal Israel will feign a special relationship but America has traditionally worshipped someone they despise, they can’t like that.

Jews in Israel have parties at Christmas time in which they sing blasphemous songs that ridicule Jesus’s virgin birth. Maybe they do so in other places too, but I’ve seen YouTube videos of those in Israel, I haven’t seen others so I can’t speak to that.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams”: Acts 2:17

The Rabbi was believed to be between 110 and 118 years old (several post say 108 years) when he died. He was said to have become obsessed with The coming of Messiah towards the end of his life and frequently had dreams of Him, even having claimed to have met Him in a vision.

He also prophesied Messiah would not appear until Ariel Sharon died, this was 2 years before Sharon fell into a coma. Ariel Sharon is nearing death as his organs have begun to fail. The family is considering pulling his life support…

Sharon has fascinated me. He was tremendously popular as I recall. On a quiet night of July 23, 2005, Josi Dayan, a rabbi and expert in Kaballah led a group of 20 men gathered to put Pulsa da-Nura (“Lashes of Fire”), an ancient Kaballistic curse, on Sharon. Less than 6 months later, on January 4, 2006, he fell into a coma.

I was quite surprised that he was more than 15 years laying there in a coma. What was going on, were the doctors and Jewish mystics performing some supernatural things on him? I wondered if he would suddenly awake as the antichrist. The Protocols speak of the King of the world they were preparing…

I just got the news that Sharon has died.

The Rabbi, the Note and the Messiah

Thursday, May 30, 2013 |  Aviel Schneider
This is a reprint of a cover story that first appeared in the April 2007 issue of Israel Today Magazine

A few months before he died, one of the nation’s most prominent rabbis, Yitzhak Kaduri, supposedly wrote the name of the Messiah on a small note which he requested would remain sealed until now. When the note was unsealed, it revealed what many have known for centuries: Yehoshua, or Yeshua (Jesus), is the Messiah.

With the biblical name of Jesus, the Rabbi and kabbalist described the Messiah using six words and hinting that the initial letters form the name of the Messiah. The secret note said:

Concerning the letter abbreviation of the Messiah’s name, He will lift the people and prove that his word and law are valid.

This I have signed in the month of mercy,

Yitzhak Kaduri

The Hebrew sentence (translated above in bold) with the hidden name of the Messiah reads:

Yarim Ha’Am Veyokhiakh Shedvaro Vetorato Omdim

ירים העם ויוכיח שדברו ותורתו עומדים

The initials spell the Hebrew name of Jesus יהושוע . Yehoshua and Yeshua are effectively the same name, derived from the same Hebrew root of the word “salvation” as documented in Zechariah 6:11 and Ezra 3:2. The same priest writes in Ezra, “Yeshua (ישוע) son of Yozadak” while writing in Zechariah “Yehoshua (יהושוע) son of Yohozadak.” The priest adds the holy abbreviation of God’s name, ho (הו), in the father’s name Yozadak and in the name Yeshua.

With one of Israel’s most prominent rabbis indicating the name of the Messiah is Yeshua, it is understandable why his last wish was to wait one year after his death before revealing what he wrote.

When the name of Yehoshua appeared in Kaduri’s message, ultra-Orthodox Jews from his Nahalat Yitzhak Yeshiva (seminary) in Jerusalem argued that their master did not leave the exact solution for decoding the Messiah’s name.

The revelation received scant coverage in the Israeli media. Only the Hebrew websites News First Class (Nfc) and Kaduri.net mentioned the Messiah note, insisting it was authentic. The Hebrew daily Ma’ariv ran a story on the note but described it as a forgery.

Jewish readers responded on the websites’ forums with mixed feelings: “So this means Rabbi Kaduri was a Christian?” and “The Christians are dancing and celebrating,” were among the comments.

Israel Today spoke to two of Kaduri’s followers in Jerusalem who admitted that the note was authentic, but confusing for his followers as well. “We have no idea how the Rabbi got to this name of the Messiah,” one of them said.

Yet others completely deny any possibility that the note is authentic.

In an interview with Israel Today, Rabbi David Kaduri, 80, the son of the late Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri, denied that his father left a note with the name Yeshua just before he died. “It’s not his writing,” he said when we showed him a copy of the note. During a night-time meeting in the Nahalat Yitzhak Yeshiva in Jerusalem, books with Kaduri’s handwriting from 80 years ago were presented to us in an attempt to prove that the Messiah note was not authentic.

When we told Rabbi Kaduri that his father’s official website (www.kaduri.net) had mentioned the Messiah note, he was shocked. “Oh no! That’s blasphemy. The people could understand that my father pointed to him [the Messiah of the Christians].” David Kaduri confirmed, however, that in his last year his father had talked and dreamed almost exclusively about the Messiah and his coming. “My father has met the Messiah in a vision,” he said, “and told us that he would come soon.”

Kaduri’s Portrayal of the Messiah

A few months before Kaduri died at the age of 108, he surprised his followers when he told them that he met the Messiah. Kaduri gave a message in his synagogue on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, teaching how to recognize the Messiah. He also mentioned that the Messiah would appear to Israel after Ariel Sharon’s death. (The former prime minister is still in a coma after suffering a massive stroke more than a year ago.) Other rabbis predict the same, including Rabbi Haim Cohen, kabbalist Nir Ben Artzi and the wife of Rabbi Haim Kneiveskzy.

Kaduri’s grandson, Rabbi Yosef Kaduri, said his grandfather spoke many times during his last days about the coming of the Messiah and redemption through the Messiah. His spiritual portrayals of the Messiah—reminiscent of New Testament accounts—were published on the websites Kaduri.net and Nfc:

“It is hard for many good people in the society to understand the person of the Messiah. The leadership and order of a Messiah of flesh and blood is hard to accept for many in the nation. As leader, the Messiah will not hold any office, but will be among the people and use the media to communicate. His reign will be pure and without personal or political desire. During his dominion, only righteousness and truth will reign.

“Will all believe in the Messiah right away? No, in the beginning some of us will believe in him and some not. It will be easier for non-religious people to follow the Messiah than for Orthodox people.

“The revelation of the Messiah will be fulfilled in two stages: First, he will actively confirm his position as Messiah without knowing himself that he is the Messiah. Then he will reveal himself to some Jews, not necessarily to wise Torah scholars. It can be even simple people. Only then he will reveal himself to the whole nation. The people will wonder and say: ‘What, that’s the Messiah?’ Many have known his name but have not believed that he is the Messiah.”

Farewell to a ‘Tsadik’

Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri was known for his photographic memory and his memorization of the Bible, the Talmud, Rashi and other Jewish writings. He knew Jewish sages and celebrities of the last century and rabbis who lived in the Holy Land and kept the faith alive before the State of Israel was born.

Kaduri was not only highly esteemed because of his age of 108. He was charismatic and wise, and chief rabbis looked up to him as a Tsadik, a righteous man or saint. He would give advice and blessings to everyone who asked. Thousands visited him to ask for counsel or healing. His followers speak of many miracles and his students say that he predicted many disasters.

When he died, more than 200,000 people joined the funeral procession on the streets of Jerusalem to pay their respects as he was taken to his final resting place.

“When he comes, the Messiah will rescue Jerusalem from foreign religions that want to rule the city,” Kaduri once said. “They will not succeed for they will fight against one another.”

Did you see this much media coverage on any one of Obama’s scandals? There wasn’t this much coverage on all of them combined.

I’m not complaining about the amount of coverage on this issue. I think it should receive heavy coverage. It’s a gross and diabolical abuse of power. But this pales in comparison to many of the Obama administration.

Where were they on Fast and Furious? Where were they on Benghazi? Where were they on the IRS targeting conservatives? Where are they when Obama disregards a federal judges ruling? Where are they when the DOJ picks and chooses which laws they will an which ones they won’t enforce? Where were they when the Democrats unconstitutionally passed the overwhelmingly unpopular Obamacare bill? These are just a few off the top of my head.

What this tells you is that despite the growth of alternative media the main stream media is still the 800 lb. gorilla in the room. If they don’t cover it nothing happens, no matter how big it really is. And they can take something insignificant and blow it up into a full blown major news story.

Face it, they control the world through mass manipulation. Why? Because they are they are not news agencies, they are propagandists. The news papers were bought out decades ago by the Rothschild's who are part of a cabal planning on owning the whole world.

These people don’t occupy the same world we do, they occupy the world of the occult. These are Wizards and sorcerers who have tapped into ancient secret knowledge, I jest not.

They have teamed up with Lucifer and the fallen angels, from whom they received this knowledge, in a scheme to rule the world and have been working on the plan for centuries. They cast spells, pronounce curses, use incantations and rituals and practice black magic. I did say they occupied a different world than you and I, didn’t I?

Now you know why the world is so messed up, how we got into the shape we’re in. It hasn’t been by chance. And the Media has been a big part of it!

Despite the 6.5% stock market rally over the last three months, a handful of billionaires are quietly dumping their American stocks . . . and fast.
Warren Buffett, who has been a cheerleader for U.S. stocks for quite some time, is dumping shares at an alarming rate. He recently complained of “disappointing performance” in dyed-in-the-wool American companies like Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, and Kraft Foods.

In the latest filing for Buffett’s holding company Berkshire Hathaway, Buffett has been drastically reducing his exposure to stocks that depend on consumer purchasing habits. Berkshire sold roughly 19 million shares of Johnson & Johnson, and reduced his overall stake in “consumer product stocks” by 21%. Berkshire Hathaway also sold its entire stake in California-based computer parts supplier Intel.
With 70% of the U.S. economy dependent on consumer spending, Buffett’s apparent lack of faith in these companies’ future prospects is worrisome.
Unfortunately Buffett isn’t alone.

Fellow billionaire John Paulson, who made a fortune betting on the subprime mortgage meltdown, is clearing out of U.S. stocks too. During the second quarter of the year, Paulson’s hedge fund, Paulson & Co., dumped 14 million shares of JPMorgan Chase. The fund also dumped its entire position in discount retailer Family Dollar and consumer-goods maker Sara Lee.

Finally, billionaire George Soros recently sold nearly all of his bank stocks, including shares of JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and Goldman Sachs. Between the three banks, Soros sold more than a million shares.

So why are these billionaires dumping their shares of U.S. companies?
After all, the stock market is still in the midst of its historic rally. Real estate prices have finally leveled off, and for the first time in five years are actually rising in many locations. And the unemployment rate seems to have stabilized.

It’s very likely that these professional investors are aware of specific research that points toward a massive market correction, as much as 90%.
One such person publishing this research is Robert Wiedemer, an esteemed economist and author of the New York Times best-selling book Aftershock.

Editor’s Note: .
Before you dismiss the possibility of a 90% drop in the stock market as unrealistic, consider Wiedemer’s credentials.

UK Telegraph Headline: Could this be the year we make contact with aliens?

Beware the deception. We are being conditioned. Though they categorize the possibility as “The longest shot of all” they headline the article with an alien encounter.

This is a huge subliminal message. If the article had been headlined with “some of the science and technology headlines we may see over the next 12 months” and the idea of an alien encounter wouldn’t stand out so much. They wanted the idea out there, and out there prominently.

I am one of many who believe the great deception mentioned in the Bible in ‘the last days’ will involve contact with demons who are mistakenly accepted as extraterrestrials. These are the UFOs that have been appearing for the last several decades. Yes, I believe in UFOs but not in alien beings. They are in fact demons. This is part of the new world order plan whose planners worship the chief demon, Lucifer.

The article from the Telegraph list several things, I only posted the one about alien contact.

Could this be the year we make contact with aliens?

From near-certainties to the far-fetched, Michael Hanlon looks at some of the science and technology headlines we may see over the next 12 months

Closer encounters: ETs may finally make contact this year

ET gets in touch

The longest shot of all, and there is no reason to believe that it is any more likely to happen in 2014 than the year after or indeed a thousand years hence. But that said, the more we learn about the universe the more, not less, curious it seems that we are apparently alone. When scientists including Enrico Fermi and Frank Drake first started seriously speculating about the possibility of extraterrestrial civilisations more than half a century ago, astronomers knew of only one solar system in the whole of the cosmos – ours. Now we know of more than a thousand, several containing apparently Earthlike planets, a handful of which may lie in their stars’ “habitable zone”, an orbit in which it is neither too hot nor too cold for liquid water to exist.

All this raises the question: where the heck is everybody? Given that we have the technology today (but not as yet the money) to build telescopes big enough to spot signs of life spectroscopically on nearby “Earth analogues”, if intelligent life is as common as some suspect then it is certain that by now the aliens have used their telescopes to detect us. Maybe a signal is overdue. Or maybe someone is on their way. Or, of course, there is simply no one out there. The wonderful thing is that any of these possibilities is equally awe-inspiring.

Obamacare Boost: What’s it called when government and corporations jointly run the country?

Why on earth would corporations take action to prop up a failing government’s signature unpopular program? With all the negatives surrounding the disastrous roll out and continuous dis-functionality of the $650 million ObamaCare website coupled with the cancellation of millions of policies, and the stories of the horrific price shock many are hit with, two giant corporation throw out a lifeline, why?

It won’t make the website work, won’t stop the cancellations, won’t help with the price increases, but it will give the administration and the lapdog media something to tout to counter all the negativity.

This ‘good news’ by Wal*Mart and Walgreens provides cover for the administration and RINO traitors who are out to destroy the America we have believed in. They will undoubtedly deflect the bad news with this.

If the two giants really wanted to help people why wouldn’t they just do this for all people in need, why limit the help to ObamaCare enrollees?

DATA GOLDMINE: WALGREENS, WALMART OFFER FREE PRESCRIPTIONS TO OBAMACARE CUSTOMERS

by JOHN NOLTE 2 Jan 2014

In what you can interpret as either an act of corporate altruism, corporate lobbying, or a mix of both, two giant retailers -- Walmart and Walgreens -- have agreed to save the Obama Administration from who knows how many horror-story anecdotes by agreeing to fill 30 days of free prescriptions for ObamaCare enrollees. The question is, though, what happens to the data and patient information these retailers collect?

When you have two of the biggest retailers in the country collecting untold amounts of personal health information from who knows how many people seeking free prescriptions, in the wake of revelations surrounding domestic NSA and Justice Department spying (on reporters!), it is not unreasonable to worry about this. We also know that a number of large corporations have apparently cooperated with the federal government's data grabs.

According to one Walgreens pharmacist Breitbart News spoke with Tuesday, in April the DEA started requiring pharmacies to ask an increased number of medical questions and show a photo ID for certain medications. There have also been reports that through ObamaCare the federal government is compiling data based on a series of new and intrusive question doctors are required to ask.

Big Business has already shown a willingness to share data with the government and to help big government programs like ObamaCare succeed and there is just no question that the federal government is escalating its intrusion into what should be the most personal information of all -- the status of our personal health.
