FBI Handout Lists Purchase of Preparedness Items as "Potential Indicators of Terrorist Activities"

Oath Keepers Exclusive:  An FBI Denver Joint Terrorism Task Force handout being distributed to Colorado surplus store owners lists the purchase  of popular preparedness items and firearms accessories as "suspicious"  and "potential indicators of terrorist activities," instructing store  owners to keep records on and report people who:

"Make bulk purchase of items to include:

Weatherproofed ammunition or match containers

Meals Ready to Eat

Night Vision Devices; night flashlights; gas masks

High capacity magazines

Bi-pods or tri-pods for rifles"

The  FBI flyer, entitled "Communities Against Terrorism: Potential   Indicators of Terrorist Activities Related to Military Surplus Stores"   also instructs surplus store owners to:

"Require valid ID from all new customers.

Keep records or purchases.

Talk to customers, ask questions, and

listen to and observe their responses.

Watch for people and actions that are out of place.

Make note of suspicious statements, people, and /or vehicles.

If something seems wrong, notify law enforcement authorities."

The  flyer also instructs surplus store owners to consider as  "suspicious"  anyone who "demands identity 'privacy'" or anyone who  expresses  "extreme religious statements" and those who "make suspicious  comments  regarding anti-US, [or] radical theology."

The "Communities Against Terrorism" flyer closes by stating:

Preventing terrorism is a community effort. By learning what to look for, you can make a positive contribution in the fight against terrorism. The partnership between the community and law enforcement is essential to the success of anti -terrorism efforts.

Some  of the activities, taken individually, could be innocent and  must be  examined by law enforcement professionals in a larger context  to   determine whether there is a basis to investigate. The activities   outlined on this handout are by no means all-inclusive but have been   compiled from a review of terrorist events over several years.

The  "handout" encourages store owners to provide information by  calling  the Denver Joint Terrorism Task Force or the Colorado  Information  Analysis Center. This handout is very nearly identical to  one issued by  the FBI to gun stores:  PDF

But  this new handout expands the absurdity by now also targeting  customers  of military surplus stores, and by specifically targeting the   purchasing of very common, and very popular, preparedness items as   "potential indicators of terrorist activities"

Is Martial Law and Dictatorship Around the Corner?

These are indeed scary times for many Americans and the future is full of chaos and uncertainty.

But is it really uncertainty or is this part of a scripted plan being played out in the nation’s capitol?

In the three years since Obama took office, he has pushed legislation that has disregarded the US Constitution, given the federal government more power over businesses and the financial market and placed the nation on the verge of financial collapse. The head of one of China’s largest credit rating agency has said that the US dollar is being dropped as the reserve currency of the world’s economy. After the credit downgrading, the markets took a drastic drop on Monday.

Obama has instituted one socialist policy after another. The Communist Party USA has officially endorsed him for the 2012 election.

If you truly look at Obama’s life and the influence of numerous Marxists and socialists from his youth to the Oval Office, everything he has done starts to make perfect sense. His trillion dollar bailouts, Obamacare, and every other program that has resulted in the economic disaster we are in were done intentionally.

All that is needed at this point is for the rest of the economy to begin to collapse for President Obama to declare a state of Martial Law throughout the United States. Once Martial Law has been established, Obama will continue to disregard the US Constitution and establish more government control over every aspect of life. Then before we know what happened, he disbands Congress and assumes complete and absolute control of the government and nation, establishing the first dictatorship in American history.

Will this happen? I sure hope not. Could it happen? So far, everything Obama has done is pointing in that direction.

It’s up to the American people to stop him, if it’s not too late already.

Main Street Bank lends most of its money to small businesses and is earning decent profits. But the Kingwood, Texas, bank is about to get out of the banking business.

In an extreme example of the frustration felt by many bankers as regulators toughen their oversight of the nation's financial institutions, Main Street's chairman, Thomas Depping, is expected to announce Wednesday that the 27-year-old bank will surrender its banking charter and sell its four branches to a nearby bank.

Mr. Depping plans to set up a new lender that will operate beyond the reach of banking regulators—and the deposit-insurance safety net. Backed by the private investment firm of Microsoft Corp. co-founder Paul Allen, the company won't be able to call itself a bank, but it will be able to do business the way Mr. Depping wants.

"The regulatory environment makes it very difficult to do what we do," says Mr. Depping, who last summer saw his bank hit with an enforcement order from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.

A spokesman for the FDIC declined to comment on Main Street, a unit of closely held MS Financial Inc. Dan Frasier, director of corporate activities for the Texas Department of Banking, confirmed that Main Street is "working on the process of moving out of the state banking system," but declined to provide details.

Bankers have long complained about their overseers, but it is rare for a bank to basically close its doors aside from an acquisition or failure. Mr. Depping blames the move on a tightening regulatory noose.

Regulators came under fire in the financial crisis for lax oversight that allowed financial institutions to dole out too much credit to unworthy borrowers. Some bank executives now complain that federal and state agencies have swung to the other extreme, poring over minute details of virtually every loan, including those to small businesses.

"The No. 1 complaint that we hear from community bankers is that they feel that regulators have gone one step too far and are choking off lending,"

British riots sparked by death of African-Brit in shootout with police?

An all too familiar American phenomenon, riots after the death of an African-American in police actions, has come to the UK.

In America, the cause can be traced to the race hatred industry of the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton for money, and the Democrats for votes, and lately the divisiveness and thuggishness of president Obama.

Do the liberals use race in the UK as they do in the US or is this just a global result of the Obama presidency?

What colour is Mark Duggan? Mark Duggan is the man who was shot dead by the police on Thursday in Tottenham. The Tottenham riots last night were sparked when people protested his death. This morning, I first heard of the riots on the radio, then on the television. I read articles on the internet. But oddly, no one would say what colour Mark Duggan was. No one would say the unsayable, that the rioters were, I suspect on the whole, black. Then, finally, Toby Young’s Telegraph blog post on the riots was published. Is Toby Young the only journalist out there who will dare say that these riots are about race?

Still, one paper did carry a photo of Mr Duggan. When I saw the photo, it confirmed what I knew instinctively: black youths once again have set London alight.

Some of the black kids I used to teach will tell you that the riots are absolutely justified. A number of adults would agree with them. Everywhere I read that the protest was understandable because “people are very angry”.

I’d like to know what they’re angry about. Mark Duggan is dead. He was shot by the police in a shootout. Duggan was in a minicab and shots were fired from both the cab and the police elsewhere. A police officer was hurt in the incident and a bullet was found lodged in a police radio. Either Duggan was shooting at the police or the driver of the minicab was. Either Duggan was in the wrong place at the wrong time and his death is a terrible tragedy – he was caught in the crossfire – or he shot at the police and the police defended themselves. Whatever the explanation, the police did not kill this man in cold blood.

Yet, a friend of Duggan who gave her name as Niki, 53, said marchers had wanted “justice for the family” and “something had to be done”. She said some of them lay in the road to make their point. “They’re making their presence known because people are not happy. This guy was not violent. Yes, he was involved in things but he was not an aggressive person. He had never hurt anyone.”

I wonder what “involved in things” means?

Al Gore: Climate skeptics peddling 'bulls--t'

Al Gore is using this hot summer to turn up the heat on climate skeptics.

The former vice president angrily denounced "bulls--t" from climate skeptics whom he accused of emulating the disinformation tactics once used by the tobacco industry.
Real Aspen reported on Gore’s comments at an Aspen Institute forum Thursday and included an audio snippet on its website.

Gore said:

The model they innovated in that effort was transported whole cloth into the climate debate. And some of the exact same people — by name, I can go down a list of their names — are involved in this. And so what do they do? They pay pseudo-scientists, to pretend to be scientists, to put out the message: "This climate thing, it’s nonsense. Man-made CO2 doesn’t trap heat. It may be volcanoes." Bulls--t! "It may be sun spots." Bulls--t! "It’s not getting warmer." Bulls--t!

And there are about 10 other memes that are out there, and when you go and talk to any audience about climate, you hear them washing back at you. The same crap, over and over and over again ... There is no longer a shared reality on an issue like climate even though the very existence of our civilization is threatened. People have no idea! And yet our ability to actually come to a shared reality that emphasizes the best evidence ... It’s no longer acceptable in mixed company, meaning bipartisan company, to use the goddamn word "climate."

Former first lady Jackie Kennedy is said to have made the tapes within months of JFK's assassination

Jackie Onassis believed that Lyndon B Johnson and a cabal of Texas tycoons were involved in the assassination of her husband John F Kennedy, ‘explosive’ recordings are set to reveal.

The secret tapes will show that the former first lady felt that her husband’s successor was at the heart of the plot to murder him.

She became convinced that the then vice president, along with businessmen in the South, had orchestrated the Dallas shooting, with gunman Lee Harvey Oswald – long claimed to have been a lone assassin – merely part of a much larger conspiracy.

Texas-born Mr Johnson, who served as the state’s governor and senator, completed Mr Kennedy’s term and went on to be elected president in his own right.

The tapes were recorded with leading historian Arthur Schlesinger Jnr within months of the assassination on November 22, 1963, and had been sealed in a vault at the Kennedy Library in Boston.

The then Mrs Kennedy, who went on to marry Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis, had ordered that they should not be released until 50 years after her death, with some reports suggesting she feared that her revelations might make her family targets for revenge.

She died 17 years ago from cancer aged 64 and now her daughter, Caroline Kennedy, has agreed to release the recordings early.

Daughter Caroline Kennedy released the 'explosive' tapes

A programme featuring the tapes will be aired by U.S. network ABC, and it is understood British broadcasters are in talks to show it here too.

ABC executives claimed the tapes’ revelations were ‘explosive’.

They are believed to include the suggestion that Mr Kennedy was having an affair with a 19-year-old White House intern, with his wife even claiming that she found knickers in their bedroom.

And they go on to reveal that she too had affairs – one with Hollywood star William Holden and another with Fiat founder Gianni Agnelli – as a result of the president’s indiscretions. It has also been claimed that, in the weeks before Mr Kennedy’s assassination, the couple had turned a corner in their relationship and were planning to have more children.

Historian Edward Klein, who has written several books on the Kennedy clan, said: ‘Jackie regarded the pretty young things in the White House as superficial flings for Jack. She did retaliate by having her own affairs.

‘There was a period during which she was delighted to be able to annoy her husband with her own illicit romances.’

It is believed that Caroline, 53, agreed to the early release of the tapes in exchange for ABC dropping its £10million drama series about the family.

The Kennedys, starring Tom Cruise’s wife Katie Holmes as Jackie, critically charted the family’s political and personal trials and tribulations since the 1930s. The series was eventually broadcast on an independent cable channel, and on BBC2 in the UK, against Caroline’s wishes.

A spokesman for ABC said the claims about the content of the tapes were 'erroneous'.

He said: ‘The actual content of the tapes provide unique and important insight into our recent past from one of the most fascinating and influential First Ladies in American history.’

The broadcaster did not reply to repeated requests for comment and would not clarify what was on the tapes, saying the programme was not scheduled for broadcast until mid-September.

Smoking Gun: Obama Took the Bait Says Corsi

World Net Daily publisher Joseph Farah and investigator Jerome Corsi are on record via e-mail and in front of staff discussing the fact that the moles had warned them of the planted birth certificate, and the plan to roll it out. Farah and Corsi again decided, as they had done with their earlier February 24 report, to not go public and let Obama commit himself openly to the forgery.

Corsi is preparing to release even more information to the press in the coming days and weeks. But to recap, World Net Daily has the proof that months before Obama rolled-out his supposed long-form birth certificate, WND.com knew that the birth certificate was indeed not there but would soon be planted. The initial intel from February indicated a plan by Democratic operatives to release it as an October surprise for the 2012 election.

The imminent publication of Dr. Corsi's book, Where's the Birth Certficate, forced the White House hand to speed up the release. Think about it: after two-and-a-half years and $2 million in lawyer fees to stonewall the release of the birth certificate, President Obama sent his lawyer to Hawaii to suddenly produce it. This timeline only adds additional credibility to the account put forward by Corsi.

Add to all of this the fact that the Kenyan government has now released two new documents confirming that the U.S. ambassador to Kenya under George W. Bush requested information on then Senator Obama's birth records in Kenya. In the government letters we discover that the Kenyan government carried out an investigation searching for the birth records and confirmed that the documents had been criminally removed.
