Asian markets rocked, fearing FED spigot turn off

Do you understand what this is admitting? The stock market, not only in the US, but the world markets are being artificially propped up by the FED’s pumping money created out of thin air into the world markets.

You thought the FED was an agency of the US government didn’t you. It’s a private monstrosity owned by international banksters! They have absolutely no allegiance to the US.

The money they are creating is in US dollars which makes the value of the US dollar decrease. They are stealing the wealth of the US!

When the markets crash trillions of dollars are going to be lost, seemingly vanish.  Where will the money go? To the FED, the gangster banksters!

U.S. Stocks Shake Off Global Market Rout

By CHRIS DIETERICH in New York, DANIEL INMAN in Hong Kong and CHARLES FORELLE in London

Stocks in the U.S. shook off a steep global selloff that began with a 7.3% plunge in Japan's stock market.

Markets around the world were jostled Thursday by a confluence of events that interrupted a monthslong rally in risky assets. Thanks in large part to a flood of easy money from global central banks, investors had piled into stocks—particularly Japanese stocks—and bought European bonds they once shunned.

Markets got a double-dose of bad news, and it sparked a selloff from Tokyo to Berlin to New York. What happens next? Lazard Capital’s Art Hogan joins MoneyBeat to discuss the next move in the markets. Photo: AP.

But comments Wednesday by U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and minutes from the Fed's recent policy meeting suggested that the Fed might start pulling back on its bond purchases sometime this year. That made investors fret that the flood might soon be tapering and dovetailed with weak Chinese manufacturing data to send the Nikkei tumbling. It fell 1,143.28 points to close at 14483.98, a drop of 7.3%, the worst decline by percentage since right after the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami. Investors jumped quickly out of riskier assets, from Spanish and Italian government bonds weakened to more-speculative currencies.

Cruz: “It’s the leaders of both parties that got us in this mess”—Amen to that!

If we can get more ‘republicans’ to understand this there may still be hope that we can restore the Republic! Redemption will not come from the republican party leadership, they are owned by the same masters as the democrats!

Sen. Ted Cruz: 'I don’t trust Republicans'

By Ramsey Cox - 05/22/13 01:08 PM ET

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said Wednesday that he doesn’t trust members of his own party to negotiate a budget conference report.

Cruz's remark came after Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said he thought it was “bizarre” that a member of his own party was objecting to forming a conference committee with the House to work out a budget.

McCain said the objections suggested Senate Republicans didn’t trust House Republicans to hold the party line in negotiations.

“Isn’t it a little bizarre, this whole exercise?” McCain said after Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) objected to going to conference. “What we’re saying is that we don’t trust our colleagues on the other side of the Capitol.”

Cruz responded that he doesn't trust Republicans.

“The senior senator of Arizona urged senators to trust House Republicans ... and frankly, I don’t trust Republicans,” Cruz said. “It’s the leaders of both parties that got us in this mess. ... A lot of Republicans were complicit in this spending spree.”

British 'soldier beheaded' in street by men with machetes screaming "Allahu Akbar"

Muslims Screaming "Allahu Akbar" Behead British Soldier on Public Street

UPDATE from the BBC:

One witness, identified only as James, said two men had attacked another man, aged about 20, who was wearing a T-shirt of military charity Help for Heroes.

"These two guys were crazed. They were just animals. They dragged him from the pavement and dumped his body in the middle of the road and left his body there," he told LBC radio.

He said after the "horrendous" attack, the two men, who were also in their 20s, stood around, waving knives and a gun, and asked people to take pictures of them "as if they wanted to be on TV or something".

"They were oblivious to anything, they were more worried about having their photo taken, running up and down the road," he said.

Open war.

By Daily Telegraph reporters

17.46 Elliston House, a 21-storey block of flats near the scene, is being evacuated to allow police to perform a controlled explosion on a blue car parked in front of it.

17.43 The attackers shouted "Allahu Akbar" (the Arabic expression meaning "God is Great"), according to Whitehall sources - BBC News.

17.41 An Army Cadet force that meets at the Woolwich barracks messages its members telling them not to arrive at the barracks in uniform.

A message posted on their community organisation public Facebook page at around 5pm says: "In light of current events outside the Artillery Barracks in Woolwich I am advising all cadets and staff to travel to the unit tomorrow night in full civilian clothes. Time will be given for cadets and staff to get changed into uniform when you arrive."

17.38 Prime Minister David Cameron describes the killing as "truly shocking", the Press Association reports.

17.35 The killing was likely to be a politcally motivated Islamist terror attack, sources tell Sky News.

17.31 & lt;noframe>Twitter: Nigel Fletcher - Very alarming reports of what has taken place here in Woolwich. My thoughts are with those affected by this very serious incident.</noframe>

17.28 Theresa May, the Home Secretary, has summoned a Cobra meeting, the BBC reports. The meetings are held when the Government is dealing with an emergency.

17.23 The Ministry of Defence says it is urgently looking at the reports that the incident involved a soldier. The incident occurred some 200 yards from the Royal Artillery Barracks, adjacent to Woolwich Common, the historical home of the Royal Artillery.

The barracks, also known as the Woolwich station, now houses a number of the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery and independent companies of the Grenadier and Coldstream Guards.

17.14 The witness who spoke to LBC, called James, says there were "brave women" present who were shielding the victim at the scene.

He tells the radio station: "We saw clearly two knives, meat cleavers. They were big kitchen knives like you would use in a butcher's. They were hacking at this poor guy. We thought they were trying to remove organs from him.

"These two guys were crazed, they were not there, they were just animals. They then dragged him from the pavement and dumped his body in the middle of the road.

"They took 20 minutes to arrive, the police - the armed response.

"There was only a few people at first, then traffic began to build up because people were getting out of their cars to shout at them. They were taking no notice, they were standing there, I think they were proud of what they were doing.

"When they dumped the body in the road, these two black guys had the opportunity to hurt other people if they wanted to because there were brave women with the dead guy on the floor. They were shielding and covering him. The attackers with the knives were standing over these women."

17.08 Julia Wilders, one of the witnesses, adds: "There were two black guys that looked like they were trying to resuscitate a white guy on the floor.

"I thought there'd been an accident but then I saw they were using meat cleavers to hack him up.

"We live just behind where it happened and once we got back we walked back to have a look and that's when I saw one of the black guys pull out a handgun.

"My husband screamed at me to get back. I was petrified.

"As I was running back I saw the police pull up and the black guy was running towards the police car and they shot him."

17.04 Another witness, Shane Webb, 48, an electrician who lives in a tower block overlooking the scene, says he looked out of the window of his flat after hearing a loud bang.

He says: "There was a white man lying in the middle of the street. He was definitely dead. He was wearing a bomber jacket.

"As I was watching a police car pulled up and two cops got out. They both just raised their guns and fired. There were about five or six shots very fast and one of the black guys just went down. I don't know if he was dead or not, but he just collapsed, just went down.

"They were firing at both of them and I think the other was hit as well, but I couldn't see that very well."

17.02 The Independent Police Complaints Commission, which is called in when ever firearms officers shot people, says it is investigating.

16.58 Julia Wilders, 51, who lives nearby, says: "My husband saw what he thought were two men trying to resuciate another man so we went to see if we could help.

"Then we saw a black guy with a gun. We went up to the school and told them and they closed it down.

"I went back to the scene and saw the two men. One had two machetes and the other had a machete and a gun.

"The man with two machetes ran at the police when they arrived and the police shot him. I saw him fall.

"The other one looked like he was goiing to go for his gun. so they shot him too.

"The two men were just dressed in normal clothes. They were shouting but I couldn't make out what they were saying."

16.54 Nick Rainsford MP says the incident took place outside the barracks in Woolwich. He tells the BBC: "As a result of the incident one man is definitely dead.

"I believe that this is someone who is a serving soldier at the barracks. Two others who are regarded by the police as suspects have been arrested but in the course of the arrest they sustained serious injuries and are both in hospital.

"I don't know the background to the cause of the incident although I have been told it concerned a road traffic accident, but I haven't had that confirmed. I am told by the police that they took a number of weapons from the site including a firearm and knives and a machete."

16.46 Nick Rainsford, the local MP, says he spoke to the police borough commander and the commanding officer of the nearby barracks, who confirmed a soldier was the victim. He says: "My understanding is that one individual is dead as a result of a very serious incident involving at least three individuals.

"A number of weapons have been recovered from the site. There appears to have been gun shots.

"One individual who I believe to have been a soldier serving at the barracks has been killed. Two other individuals who the police regard as suspects were both seriously injured."

16.41 The incident is believed to have happened outside Mulgrave Primary School & Early Years Centre. David Dixon, the head teacher, tells the BBC there were gunshots fired. He says: “I saw a body lying in the road. I went immediately back to shut the gate and to lock all the gates. The children were inside so they were as safe as possible.”

16.39 LAS confirm there is one man dead at the scene and two other men are injured. One of them is in a serious condition.

16.38 London Air Ambulance (LAS) confirms that one patient was airlifted from the scene, while another was taken away by road ambulance.

16.34 One witness, identified as James, says he and his partner saw two black men attack the young victim with knives, including a meat cleaver. The witness tells LBC: "They were hacking at this poor guy, literally. They were hacking at him, chopping him, cutting him. They dragged him from the pavement and dumped his body in the middle of the road and left his body there."

16.30 Eyewitnesses describe seeing two people shot in Woolwich, south east London, after armed police were called to an incident in which a man was attacked with a machete-style knife. He is said to have been wearing a Help for Heroes t-shirt and to have been dumped in the street.

The FED is redistributing America’s wealth away from Americans to foreign banksters

You fools who thought Obama’s wealth redistribution meant he was going to take wealthier Americans wealth and redistribute it to less wealthy Americans are in for a shock.

America is being gutted, most don’t see now it because the stock market has been artificially propped up but it won’t last, it can’t, not if 2+2 still = 4!.

When the crash comes, ask Obama where the rich mans money is you were expecting to get!!!

Thanks To QE Bernanke Has Injected Foreign Banks With Over $1 Trillion In Cash For First Time Ever

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 05/21/2013 11:54 -0400

Two years ago, Zero Hedge first made the observation that the bulk of Fed reserves (also known simply as "cash created out of thin air" because money is first and foremost fungible no matter what textbook theoreticians may claim, and the only cash allocation preference is the capital allocation IRR analysis) had been parked not with US banks, but with foreign banks with US-based operations. We followed that with more analyses, showing explicitly how the Fed was providing a constant cash injection to foreign banks courtesy of the rate on overnight reserves which is the amount Fed pays to banks that hold reserves with it, as the bulk of reserves continued to end up with foreign banks - a situation set to become a huge political storm some time in 2014-2015 when the IOER has to rise and the Fed is "found" to have injected tens of billions of "interest" not into US banks but in foreign banks operating in the US, and which then can upstream the "profits" to insolvent offshore domiciled holding companies.

So it was our expectation that while if not slowing down its rate of money-creation (i.e., reserve-production) - something that won't happen for a long time as it would crash the stock market - the Fed's reserves would at least revert to being accumulated at US-based banks. No such luck. In fact as the latest H.8 report demonstrates, as of the most recently weekly data, the Fed's policies have led to foreign banks operating in the US holding an all time high amount of reserves, surpassing $1 trillion for the first time, or $1,033 billion to be precise.

This means that, as we expected several months ago, the only recipient of ongoing Fed money printing are not US banks, but foreign banks operating in the US. For those confused about the big picture, here is a chart showing the breakdown of cash held by big and small US banks as well as foreign banks, superimposed to total reserves created by the Fed since the start of the Great Financial Crisis. The correlation is 100%.

And just to prove that ALL the unsterilized cash from both QE2 and QEternity has essentially gone to support offshore banks, here is the conclusive chart showing the change in Fed reserves and cash held by foreign banks:

Finally, tying it all together, here is chart showing cash at US banks vs cash at foreign banks operating in the US. At $1.03 trillion in foreign cash, the Fed's policies have once again led to more cash being held by foreign banks than all cash held by domestic banks.

We are confident that we speak for all when we say: "Thank you Ben - insolvent foreign banks appreciate your ongoing QE2 and QEternity-funded generosity"

Bill to block Sandy Hook records release drafted in secret—police state nearing?

I don’t know if you’ve looked into the discrepancies in the information released about the event but if not you should. No wonder they are trying to hide the information. If they can do this the police state clock will move closer to midnight.

One example, from many, is in this very story in which the article says Lanza “used a semiautomatic rifle in the massacre”. In fact, no ‘long gun’ was found in the school, it was found in the trunk of Lanza’s car.

The medical examiner stated that all the victims were shot with a long gun. A reporter asked him if he was sure because the ‘long gun’ was found in the car trunk. He said yes it was a long gun and the reports that the ‘long gun’ was found in a car trunk was incorrect.

There is video showing the gun being retrieved from the car trunk.

Bill Drafted In Secret Would Block Release Of Some Newtown Massacre Records

By JON LENDER, EDMUND H. MAHONY and DAVE ALTIMARI, The Hartford Courant

The staffs of the state's top prosecutor and the governor's office have been working in secret with General Assembly leaders on legislation to withhold records related to the police investigation into the Dec. 14 Newtown elementary school massacre — including victims' photos, tapes of 911 calls, and possibly more.

The behind-the-scenes legislative effort came to light Tuesday when The Courant obtained a copy of an email by a top assistant to Chief State's Attorney Kevin Kane, Timothy J. Sugrue. Sugrue, an assistant state's attorney, discussed options considered so far, including blocking release of statements "made by a minor."

"There is complete agreement regarding photos etc., and audio tapes, although the act may allow the disclosure of audio transcripts," Sugrue wrote to Kane, two other Kane subordinates and to Danbury State's Attorney Stephen Sedensky, who is directing the investigation of the killings.

The bill that's being crafted has not been handled under routine legislative procedures — it hasn't gone through the committee process, which includes a public hearing, for example. Sugrue's email Tuesday indicated that a draft of the bill was being worked on by leaders in both the House and Senate, and might be ready as soon as the end of the day.

He wrote: "I just received a call from Natalie Wagner" — a member of the legal counsel's staff in the office of Gov. Dannel P. Malloy.

"She believes that draft language will be forthcoming today (the work of both houses) in the form of a special act. ..." Sugrue wrote that Wagner "will send me the draft in confidence when she receives it, and I will immediately forward it."

However, late Tuesday, the legislation proposed by Kane wasn't ready to be acted on in either legislative chamber, said Malloy's director of communications, Andrew Doba. He said he did not know when that might happen.

"A lot of people, including our office, have heard the concerns expressed by the families of Newtown victims, and are exploring ways to respect the families' right to privacy while also respecting the public's right to information," gubernatorial chief of staff Mark Ojakian said in a statement released by Doba.

A major question yet to be settled is whether the legislation would apply only to the Newtown case, or to documents from other criminal cases that are now subject to public disclosure. A report on the police investigation into the Newtown shooting is expected to be released in June.

As envisioned by Kane, the bill wouldn't be limited to the Newtown file.

"We are seeking legislation to protect crime scene photographs protecting victims and certain 911 tapes," Kane told The Courant Tuesday. "It is something that I have been concerned about for years and years and the situation in Newtown brings it to a head. I don't want family members seeing pictures of their loved ones publicized in a manner in which these are subject to be published."

He said as he sees the legislation, it would apply to "basically crime scene photographs depicting injuries to victims and recordings, 911 recordings displaying the mental anguish of victims. Things like that, of that category. And it seems to me that the intrusion of the privacy of the individuals outweighs any public interest in seeing these."

Sugrue said in his email that the "forthcoming" language would be "in the form of a special act, not an amendment to the [state's Freedom of Information Act]."

As originally discussed behind the scenes, the proposed legislation would have amended the state's freedom of information law by adding a blanket exemption to disclosure of any "criminal investigation photograph, film, videotape, other image or recording or report depicting or describing the victim or victims."

Colleen Murphy, the director of the state's FOI Commission, said Tuesday that her staff had argued against the idea of such a blanket change. She said a couple of weeks ago the office of House Speaker Brendan Sharkey provided her agency with a draft including the blanket exception. She said she was advised that this draft would not be put to a vote, but she knew nothing abut the contents of the "forthcoming" draft.

Murphy said she'd urged that lawmakers be "thoughtful and careful about any legislation" and to "not be reactive to one situation" by making changes that could have long-term, unintended effects.

Murphy was unaware of Sugrue's email when The Courant told her about it late Tuesday afternoon. She said she and her staff had not been receiving detailed updates. Asked if she would have liked to have been kept aware of developments such as Sugrue's email, she said yes.

The killing of 20 first-graders and six women at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown has sparked a number of legislative proposals this year to protect the privacy of the victims' families and spare them further pain. One example is a bill that would exempt the death certificates of minors from public disclosure for six months.

On Dec. 14, Adam Lanza, 20, shot and killed his mother at their Newtown home then drove to the school, where he used a semiautomatic rifle in the massacre. He then killed himself. Most investigative records have yet to be released concerning Lanza, including any psychological reports.

If the proposed legislation ends up blocking the release of victims' photos and tapes of 911 calls — on which Sugrue said "there is complete agreement" — it wouldn't be a significant departure from normal procedures with regard to photos, but would be a major departure with regard to tapes of emergency calls.

As a matter of long practice, Connecticut police departments do not release grisly photos of victims. These only emerge in public when placed in evidence during criminal trials, and when they do they generally are not published in newspapers or on television.

"Our concern is the media and the Internet and all the bloggers," Kane said. "If this stuff is FOI-able. ... You've seen these pictures, which are sometimes introduced as exhibits in court  at a trial. The print media certainly doesn't print those. And normally the TV doesn't. But this case rose to a whole different level.  Subject to FOI, any member of the public can get them."

Audio tapes of 911 tapes, on the other hand, are routinely released by police under FOI laws in Connecticut and across the country. Law enforcement officials have refused to release the 911 call tapes in the Newtown case so far. Those tapes were released after other recent major crimes, including the 2010 Hartford Distributors shootings in Manchester.

The release of such tapes are often used by the news media or lawyers to evaluate the police response to emergencies.

Sugrue's email on Tuesday discussed, in vague terms, potential "consent" provisions under which victims' family members apparently would have say over what information might be withheld or released. He mentioned a proposal to "allow the written consent of one immediate next of kin" – to accommodate one parent's "desire to obtain records that relate to her son." But, he added, that might be unfair to "the other families if one member thereof gives the consent."

Also unclear Tuesday was the question of which government officials would decide whether to release or withhold information under the bill.

Democrat can’t wait 5 minutes after the OK tornado to blame the proven hoax ‘global warming’

The global warming hoax has been the engine driving the plan to steal the earth’s real estate and resources and enslave mankind through UN Agenda 21. It’s probably the number one tool for setting up the new world order.

That’s why they will hold on to it at all costs despite the plain evidence that not only is there no ‘manmade’ global warming occurring, there is no global warming at all.

Despite the fact that tornado outbreaks are substantially down and there’s been no warming in 15 years:

The hoax has been revealed, no warming has taken place for 15 years, in fact, it’s been getting cooler…

Still, it will not go away, they have too much invested in it. It is the major driver in UN Agenda 21, the tool with which they are stealing the earth’s real estate! Who are they? You know who they are, there are many names, but put simply, they’re the people behind the new world order!

Climate slowdown means extreme rates of warming 'not as likely'

By Matt McGrath Environment correspondent, BBC News

ice The impacts of rising temperature are being felt particularly keenly in the polar regions

Scientists say the recent downturn in the rate of global warming will lead to lower temperature rises in the short-term.

Since 1998, there has been an unexplained "standstill" in the heating of the Earth's atmosphere.

Writing in Nature Geoscience, the researchers say this will reduce predicted warming in the coming decades.

But long-term, the expected temperature rises will not alter significantly.

      “Start Quote

The most extreme projections are looking less likely than before”

End Quote Dr Alexander Otto University of Oxford

The slowdown in the expected rate of global warming has been studied for several years now. Earlier this year, the UK Met Office lowered their five-year temperature forecast.

But this new paper gives the clearest picture yet of how any slowdown is likely to affect temperatures in both the short-term and long-term.

An international team of researchers looked at how the last decade would impact long-term, equilibrium climate sensitivity and the shorter term climate response.

      Transient nature

Climate sensitivity looks to see what would happen if we doubled concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere and let the Earth's oceans and ice sheets respond to it over several thousand years.

Transient climate response is much shorter term calculation again based on a doubling of CO2.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reported in 2007 that the short-term temperature rise would most likely be 1-3C (1.8-5.4F).

But in this new analysis, by only including the temperatures from the last decade, the projected range would be 0.9-2.0C.

Ice The report suggests that warming in the near term will be less than forecast

"The hottest of the models in the medium-term, they are actually looking less likely or inconsistent with the data from the last decade alone," said Dr Alexander Otto from the University of Oxford.

"The most extreme projections are looking less likely than before."

The authors calculate that over the coming decades global average temperatures will warm about 20% more slowly than expected.

But when it comes to the longer term picture, the authors say their work is consistent with previous estimates. The IPCC said that climate sensitivity was in the range of 2.0-4.5C.

      Ocean storage

This latest research, including the decade of stalled temperature rises, produces a range of 0.9-5.0C.

"It is a bigger range of uncertainty," said Dr Otto.

"But it still includes the old range. We would all like climate sensitivity to be lower but it isn't."

The researchers say the difference between the lower short-term estimate and the more consistent long-term picture can be explained by the fact that the heat from the last decade has been absorbed into and is being stored by the world's oceans.

Not everyone agrees with this perspective.

Prof Steven Sherwood, from the University of New South Wales, says the conclusion about the oceans needs to be taken with a grain of salt for now.

"There is other research out there pointing out that this storage may be part of a natural cycle that will eventually reverse, either due to El Nino or the so-called Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation, and therefore may not imply what the authors are suggesting," he said.

The authors say there are ongoing uncertainties surrounding the role of aerosols in the atmosphere and around the issue of clouds.

"We would expect a single decade to jump around a bit but the overall trend is independent of it, and people should be exactly as concerned as before about what climate change is doing," said Dr Otto.

Is there any succour in these findings for climate sceptics who say the slowdown over the past 14 years means the global warming is not real?

"None. No comfort whatsoever," he said.

A second 'house of horrors' abortion clinic is being investigated in Texas, just days after Dr Kermit Gosnell was found guilty of murdering newborns at his Philadelphia termination center.

Dr. Douglas Karpen, seen here in court, is accused of killing babies aborted in their third trimester

Houston doctor Douglas Karpen is accused by four former employees of delivering live fetuses during third-trimester abortions and killing them by either snipping their spinal cord, stabbing a surgical instrument into their heads or 'twisting their heads off their necks with his own bare hands'.

Other times the fetus was so big he would have to pull it out of the womb in pieces, Karpen's ex-assistant, Deborah Edge, said in an Operation Rescue video, which has prompted a criminal investigation into the doctor.

'Sometimes he couldn't get the fetus out... he would yank pieces – piece by piece – when they were oversize,' Edge explained.

'And I'm talking about the whole floor dirty. I'm talking about me drenched in blood.'

Two of Edge's colleagues, Gigi Aguliar, and Krystal Rodriguez, also described the hellish scenes which took place at the Aaron Women's Clinic in Houston in 2011, and possibly two other abortion clinics run by Karpen in Texas.

Another staffer, who remains anonymous, filed an affidavit with her account of events, which the Texas Department of State Health Services is using in its investigation.

'We have several people looking into the allegations,' Harris County District Attorney spokesman Sara Marie Kinney told Chron.com.

Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst said he had read the allegations 'with disgust' before calling for a full investigation into Karpen and his clinics.

Anti-abortion film claims doctor killed fetuses outside womb

Lifenews.com, an anti-abortion news website, has published cell phone photographs taken by the employees of fetuses with gashes in their necks after they were killed at the clinic, though these are far too gruesome for MailOnline to show.

Edge said fetuses were killed well after 24 weeks gestation at the Houston clinic, which resulted in a sweat-inducing job that took about an hour per procedure. She said every morning on multiple occasions she would see fetuses born alive and then quickly killed by the doctor.

'When he did an abortion, especially an over 20 week abortion, most of the time the fetus would come completely out before he either cut the spinal cord or he introduced one of the instruments into the soft spot of the fetus in order to kill it.... or actually twisting the head off the neck with his own bare hands,' she explained.

'It was still alive because it was still moving and you could see the stomach breathing.'

The women described one occasion where a fetus that Karpen thought was dead suddenly 'opened its eyes and grabbed (the doctor's) finger' after he wrenched it from the womb. However, it met a similar fate to the other fetuses at the clinic, the women said.

'He thought it was dead but the fetus actually opened its eyes and grabbed his finger,' Aguliar said. 'He was alive. He thought it was deceased already. He was getting ready to put it in the back.'

They also recounted occasions when women were so far along with their pregnancy they were actually induced into labor and in two cases their fetus' came out while they were in the bathroom.

Rodriguez described another incident where a patient's fetus fell from her and onto the floor in the clinic's waiting room.

'(Karpen) just picked it up with a Chux and put it in the trash bag,' she said.

According to Rodriguez, as long as patients had the cash, Karpen would perform an abortion well past 24 weeks. A late-term procedure cost between $4,000 and $5,000 at the clinic, they said in the video which was filmed as the clinic was still operating and released on Wednesday.

Edge said she regularly got upset during her work and couldn't watch when Karpen allegedly killed the newborns. But she said she didn't know that what he was doing was illegal.

'We used to look at each other and sometimes our tears would come out with the other assistants,' Edge said. 'We would always think "he's so greedy."'
