Sheriff Joe predicts Obama investigation to be a 'shock'

A shock would be that anyone really believes he’s legal!

'There are a couple of things ... that could be a little bit exciting'

The results of a formal law-enforcement investigation into whether Barack Obama is eligible to be president of the United States could come as a "shock," according to Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Tuesday night, speaking to a tea-party group in Arizona, Arpaio said, "I can't tell you everything, but there could be a shock there somewhere that my guys came up with. I can't talk too much about it. It's in the process."

WND previously has reported that Arpaio has constituted a special five-member law enforcement posse to investigate allegations brought by members of the Surprise, Ariz., Tea Party that the birth certificate released to the public April 27 might be a forgery.

The posse, assembled under the authority of Arpaio's office, consists of three former law enforcement officers and two retired attorneys with law enforcement experience. Members have been examining evidence since September concerning Obama's eligibility to be president under Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution, which requires a president to be a natural-born citizen.

He referenced disputes over the Social Security number attributed to the president and said, "There are a couple of things you and nobody else here knows anything about yet that could be a little bit exciting."

"The investigation into Obama's eligibility to be president is proceeding as planned," Arpaio later told WND. "I expect to have the investigation completed early next year."

He continued, "Yesterday, I met with the leader of the posse conducting the investigation, and I am very satisfied with their progress. The posse is doing a thorough and very professional job, and I am confident the posse is asking the right questions."

Arpaio declined to reveal to WND any specifics of the investigation, but he suggested the issues being examined are comprehensive in their scope.

Attorney Orly Taitz, who has fought for more information about Obama in a number of the court cases she has filed since before Obama's election, flew on short notice from her office in California to attend an evening meeting of the Surprise Tea Party. She brought evidence she claimed proved Obama is using a fraudulent Social Security number.

A video of Taitz's appearance at the Surprise Tea Party meeting has been posted on YouTube:

WND previously reported that two private investigators working independently have asked why Obama is using a Social Security number set aside for applicants in Connecticut while there is no record he ever had a mailing address in that state. WND also has reported a private investigation revealed that the Social Security number being used by Obama does not pass a check with E-Verify, the electronic system the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has created to verify whether or not someone is authorized to work legally in America.

Arpaio accepted the evidence Taitz presented, although sources close to the sheriff's investigation told WND the posse already had the information she presented.

During her approximately 10-minute speech delivered in the front of the room, Taitz made her case to Arpaio, with her comments punctuated by audience applause. Arpaio, standing next to the podium, listened to Taitz attentively and politely.

"Thanks for your input," Arpaio said, after she handed him the papers containing her evidence and arguments regarding the Social Security number controversy. "We are looking at this very closely."

He commented that he was a little sorry Taitz went into details of specific investigative issues while the investigation was ongoing, but he acknowledged, "You have a right to do so. I'm investigating and I have to be careful sometimes. It's very complex."

Arpaio told Taitz and the tea-party audience he could not go public on any specifics regarding the probe until it was concluded.

Regarding the Social Security concerns, he said, "What you are saying here, we know all about."

Arpaio said he was "not going to wait forever to get the investigation done," adding that he wants to complete it as soon as possible, so he can make his recommendations on steps that may be needed to move forward.

"I'm really the Lone Ranger on this one," he told the group candidly. "I'm doing my job. I'm getting shots from everyone. Nobody is going to tell me not to address this issue. The investigation is moving forward."

Arpaio repeated to the tea-party group what he has told WND previously: "My door is open to everyone, and I don't kick them out. If a complaint is legitimate, I don't dump it into the wastebasket. When I get allegations brought to me by the people of Maricopa County, I look into the allegations, just like I am doing here."

On April 15, Arizona Gov. Janet Brewer vetoed a bill passed by the state legislature that would have required candidates for the presidency to prove to the Arizona secretary of state their eligibility to be president under Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution to have their names placed on the ballot.

There are more than 3,000 volunteers who participate in Arpaio's posse program. The power to constitute posses is authorized to Arizona sheriffs under the state constitution.

The "Cold Case Posse" conducting the Obama eligibility investigation has been described as a "posse within the posse," consisting of volunteers with professional experience in conducting investigations, including individuals chosen because of their professional backgrounds in law enforcement, as well as lawyers who have participated in criminal or civil cases and individuals with specialized skills in fields ranging from accounting to conducting criminal forensic examination.

The Cold Case Posse investigating Obama's eligibility was constituted as a 501(c)3 organization so that donations could be used for expenses and the investigation would not cost the people of Maricopa County any taxpayer money.

The pot calling the kettle black: Color of Change launches campaign to have MSNBC fire ‘white supremacist’ Pat Buchanan

Pat Buchanan

Color of Change, a group founded by former White House green jobs czar Van Jones, has launched a campaign to have MSNBC contributor Pat Buchanan fired from the network.

The group released a call to action to supporters Tuesday, urging them to sign a petition to unseat Buchanan from his role, calling him “a white supremacist on national TV.”

“For years, Pat Buchanan has passed off white supremacist ideology as legitimate mainstream political commentary,” the group wrote. “And MSNBC continues to pay him and give him a platform on national TV to do it.”

“If MSNBC wants to be seen as a trusted, mainstream source of news and commentary, it needs to fire Buchanan now,” the group declared.

“Buchanan tries to blame the country’s economic problems on programs like affirmative action, welfare, and food stamps — programs which help vulnerable and disadvantaged Americans of every race, but which Buchanan and others on the far right have portrayed as only helping lazy and undeserving minorities,” Color of Change alleges.

“He takes every opportunity to stoke the racial anxiety and fear that exists among some white people. In short, Buchanan wants to pit white people against people of color,” the organizers said. “He believes in it, he thinks it’s good political strategy, and in his new book he encourages the GOP to become ‘the white party.’”

Examples of alleged racism cited by Color of Change include Buchanan saying that “This has been a country built basically by white folks,” and that “Sonia Sotomayor does believe in race-based justice basically at the expense of white males and to advance people of color. The truth is that’s what Barack Obama believes as well.”

Color of Change also alleges that Buchanan has defended Adolf Hitler, argued that both sides were right in the American Civil War and implied that white people are inherently more intelligent. (RELATED: OccuList: MSNBC’s host petitioned senator on protesters’ behalf)

The campaign is not the first conducted by Color of Change against a conservative personality given a mainstream media platform. Earlier this year, a campaign was launched to have media mogul Andrew Breitbart banned from The Huffington Post.

The Huffington Post conceded to the campaign’s demand, and established an inconsistently-applied ban on writers who utter ad hominem attacks, after Breitbart told The Daily Caller that he was displeased with the campaign by “left-wing freaks at Color of Change” to censor him, and described Jones as “a cop killer-supporting, racist, demagogic freak. And a commie. And an eco-fraudster.”

Been wondering where ACORN went? Look behind “Occupy” for one place.

EXCLUSIVE: ACORN Playing Behind Scenes Role in 'Occupy' Movement

By Jana Winter  Published October 26, 2011  | FoxNews.com

The former New York office for ACORN, the disbanded community activist group, is playing a key role in the self-proclaimed “leaderless” Occupy Wall Street movement, organizing “guerrilla” protest events and hiring door-to-door canvassers to collect money under the banner of various causes while spending it on protest-related activities, sources tell FoxNews.com.

The former director of New York ACORN, Jon Kest, and his top aides are now busy working at protest events for New York Communities for Change (NYCC). That organization was created in late 2009 when some ACORN offices disbanded and reorganized under new names after undercover video exposes prompted Congress to cut off federal funds.

Former New York office for ACORN, the disbanded community activist group, is playing a key role in 'leaderless' Occupy Wall Street movement, organizing 'guerrilla' protest events and hiring canvassers to collect money for various causes while spending it on protest-related activities, sources tell FoxNews.com.

NYCC’s connection to ACORN isn’t a tenuous one: It works from the former ACORN offices in Brooklyn, uses old ACORN office stationery, employs much of the old ACORN staff and, according to several sources, engages in some of the old organization’s controversial techniques to raise money, interest and awareness for the protests.

Sources said NYCC has hired about 100 former ACORN-affiliated staff members from other cities – paying some of them $100 a day - to attend and support Occupy Wall Street. Dozens of New York homeless people recruited from shelters are also being paid to support the protests, at the rate of $10 an hour, the sources said.

At least some of those hired are being used as door-to-door canvassers to collect money that’s used to support the protests.

Sources said cash donations collected by NYCC on behalf of some unions and various causes are being pooled and spent on Occupy Wall Street. The money is used to buy supplies, pay staff and cover travel expenses for the ex-ACORN members brought to New York for the protests.

In one such case, sources said, NYCC staff members collected cash donations for what they were told was a United Federation of Teachers fundraising drive, but the money was diverted to the protests.

Sources who participated in the teachers union campaign said NYCC supervisors gave them the addresses of union members and told them to go knock on their doors and ask for contributions—and did not mention that the money would go toward Occupy Wall Street expenses. One source said the campaign raked in about $5,000.

Current staff members at NYCC told FoxNews.com the union fundraising drive was called off abruptly last week, and they were told NYCC should not have been raising money for the union at all.

Sources said staff members also collected door-to-door for NYCC’s PCB campaign — which aims to test schools for deadly toxins —but then pooled that money together with cash raised for the teachers union and other campaigns to fund Occupy Wall Street.

“We go to Freeport, Central Islip, Park Slope, everywhere, and we say we’re collecting money for PCBs testing in schools. But the money isn’t going to the campaign," one source said.

"It’s going to Occupy Wall Street, and we’re not using that money to get schools tested for deadly chemicals or to make their kids safer. It’s just going to the protests, and that’s just so terrible.”

A spokesman for the United Federation of Teachers told FoxNews.com, "The UFT is not involved in any NYCC fundraising on the PCB issue.”

Multiple sources said NYCC is also using cash donations through canvassing efforts in New York’s Harlem and Washington Heights neighborhoods for union-backed campaigns to fund the Wall Street protests.

“All the money collected from canvasses is pooled together back at the office, and everything we’ve been working on for the last year is going to the protests, against big banks and to pay people’s salaries—and those people on salary are, of course, being paid to go to the protests every day,” one NYCC staff member told FoxNews.com.

Those who contribute don't know the money is going to fund the protests, the source said.

“They give contributions because we say if they do we can fix things - whatever specific problem they’re having in their area, housing, schools, whatever ... then we spend the contributions paying staff to be at the protests all day, every day. That’s where these contributions - the community’s money – is going,” the source said.

“They’re doing the same stuff now that got ACORN in trouble to begin with. And yes, we’re still ACORN, there is a still a national ACORN.”

Another source, who said she was hired from a homeless shelter, said she was first sent to the protests before being deployed to Central Islip, Long Island, to canvass for a campaign against home foreclosures.

“I went to the protests every day for two weeks and made $10 an hour. They made me carry NYCC signs and big orange banners that say NYCC in white letters. About 50 others were hired around my time to go to the protests. We went to protests in and around Zuccotti Park, then to the big Times Square protest,” she said.

“But now they have me canvassing on Long Island for money, so I get the money and then the money is being used for Occupy Wall Street—to pay for all of it, for supplies, food, transportation, salaries, for everything ... all that money is going to pay for the protests downtown and that’s just messed up. It’s just wrong.”

Neither Kest, NYCC executive director, nor his communications director returned repeated email and telephone requests for comment, nor did his communications director. A Fox News producer who visited the Brooklyn office on Tuesday was told, "The best people to speak to who are involved with Occupy Wall Street aren't available."

But the organization responded to this story late Wednesday, alerting a FoxNews.com reporter by Twitter message to a statement posted on its website that called the story a "smear campaign."

"Fox News is trying to discredit Occupy Wall Street. New York Communities for Change is a new organization that fights for low- and moderate-income families," the agency said in the online statement, credited to board member Linnette Ebanks. "We don't pay protesters and any monies raised by NYCC's canvass are used in support of our ongoing issue campaigns. Period."

The statement also argued that Occupy Wall Street is "an organic movement" that has the support of most Americans.

In a phone interview on Tuesday, Harrison Schultz, an Occupy Wall Street spokesman, said he knew nothing about NYCC’s involvement in the Occupy movement.

“Haven’t seen them, couldn’t tell you,” he said.

He said he couldn’t comment on the Occupy the Boardroom website’s relationship to the movement and to NYCC.

“It’s a horizontal organization, a leaderless organization, it’s difficult to explain it,” Schultz said, “difficult to explain it to people who haven’t worked in this, who haven’t been part of it.”

Kest publicly threw his organization’s support behind the movement in a Sept. 30 opinion piece on HuffingtonPost.com. But top ex-ACORN staff members and current NYCC officials have been planning events like the Occupy Wall Street protests since February, a source within the group told FoxNews.com.

That’s when planning began for May 12 protests against Chase bank foreclosures, which were followed by the formation of the Beyond May 12 campaign, targeting Wall Street and big banks. That campaign was rolled out by a coalition of community groups and unions and led by the revamped former ACORN group.

“What people don’t understand is that ACORN is behind this — and that this, what’s happening now, is all part of the May 12 and Beyond May 12 plans to go after the banks, Chase in particular,” a source said.

Sources said NYCC was a key player behind a series of recent Occupy Wall Street events, including the Oct. 11 Millionaires March, which brought protests and union and community groups on walking tours of Upper East Side homes of wealthy New Yorkers; and the launch of the “Occupy the Boardroom” website, registered to Kest, which encouraged protesters to contact high-profile bankers, among others.

News not seen on the news: Wisconsin school’s go from bust to boom after teacher’s unions booted!

This is amazing, hope that this info gets seen by everyone...the news media won't touch it of course because they are supported by the left & the Unions!

Now the TRUTH is starting to surface.

Remember the violent and disgusting demonstrations over Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker doing away with collective bargaining for teacher's unions? The results are in. Some school districts went from a $400,000 deficit to a $1,500,000 surplus as a result. Why?

It seems that the insurance company that provided all the "so-called" benefits to the teachers was an insurance company owned and operated by the teacher's union. Since the outfit was guaranteed to get the insurance business from the teachers, and the State had to pay for it (not the teachers) the insurance company was increasing annual costs every single year to become the most expensive insurance company in the state. Then the company was donating millions and millions of dollars to its favorite democrat politicians who, when they got elected, guaranteed to keep funding the union's outrageous Costs. In other words, the insurance company was a "pass through" for Wisconsin taxpayer money directly to democrat politicians.

Nice racket, and this is the racket that is going on in every single State that allows collective bargaining.

No wonder the States are taking it away. Now the State of Wisconsin is free to put the insurance contract out for bids and, lo and behold, they have saved so much money it has turned deficits into surplus amounts. As a result, none of the teachers had to be laid off, everyone got a raise, etc., etc., and the taxpayers of Wisconsin don't have to pay more taxes to fund the union's political ambitions.

If you weren't aware of the reasons Gov. Walker was fighting to take away collective bargaining, it gives you an idea of the problem the Republican Party has. Outside of one or two, none of them know how to speak up and explain properly what the problem was. We could sure use a Ronald Reagan now, someone who could explain things for people to understand, since we know that people don't like to read anymore.

The Obama Spend-O-Rama

Obama Grows Government at Record-Shattering Pace

And has nothing to show for it.

Palo Alto — Barack Obama is the Barry Bonds of Big Government. He offers America liberalism on steroids. While he earns grand slams for spending and debt, his pitiful results constitute strikeouts.

In an address to the Hoover Institution here last Monday, Stanford University economics professor Michael Boskin detailed President Obama’s truly historic profligacy.

Under Obama, federal spending has risen from 20.7 percent of gross domestic product to 25.3 percent, Washington’s largest slice of apple pie since 1945. In fiscal year 2011, which ended September 30, Uncle Sam spent a record $3.6 trillion, up an inexcusable 4 percent since FY 2010. So much for Obama’s demands for “shared sacrifice.”

Obama’s spend-o-rama includes federally funded green jobs that Boskin dismisses as “the leprechaun economy.” The apotheosis of this blarney was last month’s $1.2 billion Energy Department loan guarantee to SunPower Corporation of Richmond, California. Its solar-equipment project promises 15 permanent positions. Cost per job-created: a staggering $80 million.

Even worse, if possible, the Fox Business Network’s Gerri Willis reports that SunPower received this federal largesse even though its share price has plummeted 93.5 percent — from $133.61 (its Dec. 7, 2007, peak) to $8.09 on September 30, when it won Energy’s loan guarantee. SunPower’s market capitalization stood at some $800 million, just below its $820 million debt. SunPower released an earnings warning after scoring this federal subsidy. The company also faces a class-action lawsuit in which investors claim that it has made false public statements.

Would you invest in SunPower? You already did!

You can’t make up this stuff !

This kind of fiscal recklessness helped swell FY 2011’s federal deficit to a record $1.298 trillion, just ahead of FY 2010’s $1.294 trillion in red ink and, though behind FY 2009’s record $1.416 trillion. Obama has authorized three consecutive trillion-dollar deficits. Now he demands another $447 billion for Stimulus, Jr.

All of this, Boskin observes, has pushed the federal debt to 67 percent of gross domestic product, the highest since the aftermath of World War II. No wonder Standard & Poor’s downgraded America’s sovereign debt last August 5 — another first.

Obama’s milestone-setting expenditures would be bad enough if they were the spectacularly high price for restoring prosperity. Instead, Obama has impoverished the Republic for nothing.

Only 58.1 percent of the population is working, the lowest level since 1983, notes Boskin, chairman of Pres. George H. W. Bush’s Council of Economic Advisers and a Hoover senior fellow. Among America’s 14 million unemployed citizens, a record 45.9 percent have been jobless for more than 27 weeks.

Boskin compared snapshots of Obama’s and Pres. Ronald Reagan’s post-recession recoveries, 27 months after each downturn hit bottom. In September 2011, on Obama’s watch, non-farm payrolls had grown 0.6 percent, yielding 841,000 jobs since June 2009. Under the tax-cutting, business-boosting Reagan, non-agricultural employment swelled 8.7 percent, generating 7.7 million new jobs.

NEW YORK | Thu Oct 13, 2011 11:09am EDT

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Anti-Wall Street protesters say the rich are getting richer while average Americans suffer, but the group that started it all may have benefited indirectly from the largesse of one of the world's richest men.

There has been much speculation over who is financing the disparate protest, which has spread to cities across America and lasted nearly four weeks. One name that keeps coming up is investor George Soros, who in September debuted in the top 10 list of wealthiest Americans. Conservative critics contend the movement is a Trojan horse for a secret Soros agenda.

Soros and the protesters deny any connection. But Reuters did find indirect financial links between Soros and Adbusters, an anti-capitalist group in Canada which started the protests with an inventive marketing campaign aimed at sparking an Arab Spring type uprising against Wall Street. Moreover, Soros and the protesters share some ideological ground.

"I can understand their sentiment," Soros told reporters last week at the United Nations about the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations, which are expected to spur solidarity marches globally on Saturday.

Pressed further for his views on the movement and the protesters, Soros refused to be drawn in. But conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh summed up the speculation when he told his listeners last week, "George Soros money is behind this."

Soros, 81, is No. 7 on the Forbes 400 list with a fortune of $22 billion, which has ballooned in recent years as he deftly responded to financial market turmoil. He has pledged to give away all his wealth, half of it while he earns it and the rest when he dies.

Like the protesters, Soros is no fan of the 2008 bank bailouts and subsequent government purchase of the toxic sub-prime mortgage assets they amassed in the property bubble.

The protesters say the Wall Street bank bailouts in 2008 left banks enjoying huge profits while average Americans suffered under high unemployment and job insecurity with little help from Washington. They contend that the richest 1 percent of Americans have amassed vast fortunes while being taxed at a lower rate than most people.

BANKING LIFE SUPPORT

Soros in 2009 wrote in an editorial that the purchase of toxic bank assets would, "provide artificial life support for the banks at considerable expense to the taxpayer."

He urged the Obama administration to take bolder action, either by recapitalizing or nationalizing the banks and forcing them to lend at attractive rates. His advice went unheeded.

The Hungarian-American was an early supporter of the 2008 election campaign of Barack Obama, who will seek a second term as president in the November, 2012, election. He has long backed liberal causes - the Open Society Institute, the foreign policy think tank Council on Foreign Relations and Human Rights Watch.

According to disclosure documents from 2007-2009, Soros' Open Society gave grants of $3.5 million to the Tides Center, a San Francisco-based group that acts almost like a clearing house for other donors, directing their contributions to liberal non-profit groups. Among others the Tides Center has partnered with are the Ford Foundation and the Gates Foundation.

Disclosure documents also show Tides, which declined comment, gave Adbusters grants of $185,000 from 2001-2010, including nearly $26,000 between 2007-2009.

Aides to Soros say any connection is tenuous and that Soros has never heard of Adbusters. Soros himself declined comment.

The Vancouver-based group, which publishes a magazine and runs such campaigns as "Digital Detox Week" and "Buy Nothing Day," says it wants to "change the way corporations wield power" and its goal is "to topple existing power structures."

SLOW START

Adbusters, whose magazine has a circulation of 120,000 and which is known for its spoofs of popular advertisements, came up with the Occupy Wall Street idea after Arab Spring protests toppled governments in Egypt, Libya and Tunisia, said Kalle Lasn, 69, Adbusters co-founder.

"It came out of these brainstorming sessions we have at Adbusters," Lasn told Reuters, adding they began promoting it online on July 13. "We were inspired by what happened in Tunisia and Egypt and we had this feeling that America was ripe for a Tahrir moment."

"We felt there was a real rage building up in America, and we thought that we would like to create a spark which would give expression for this rage."

Lasn said Adbusters is 95 percent funded by subscribers paying for the magazine. "George Soros's ideas are quite good, many of them. I wish he would give Adbusters some money, we sorely need it," he said. "He's never given us a penny."

Other support for Occupy Wall Street has come from online funding website Kickstarter, where more than $75,000 has been pledged, deliveries of food and from cash dropped in a bucket at the park. Liberal film maker Michael Moore has also pledged to donate money.

The protests began in earnest on September 17, triggered by an Adbusters campaign featuring a provocative poster showing a ballerina dancing atop the famous bronze bull in New York's financial district as a crowd of protesters wearing gas masks approach behind her.

Dressed in anarchist black, the battle-ready mob is shrouded in a fog suggestive of tear gas or fires burning. Some are wearing gas masks, others wielding sticks. The poster's message seems to be a heady combination of sexuality, violence, excitement and adventure.

Former carpenter Robert Daros, 23, saw that poster in a cafe in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Having lost his work as a carpenter after Florida's speculative construction boom collapsed in a heap of sub-prime mortgage foreclosures, he quit his job as a bartender and traveled to New York City with just a sleeping bag and the hope of joining the protest movement.

Daros was one of the first people to arrive on Wall Street for the so-called occupation on September 17, when protesters marched and tried to camp on Wall Street only to be driven off by police to Zuccotti Park - two acres of concrete without a blade of grass near the rising One World Trade Center.

"When I was a carpenter, I lost my job because the financier of my project was arrested for corporate fraud," said Daros, who was wearing a red arm band to show he was helping out in the medic section of the Occupy Wall Street camp.

Since its obscure beginnings, the campaign has drawn global media attention in places as far-flung as Iran and China. The Times of London, however, was not alone when it called the protests "Passionate but Pointless."

Adbusters' co-founder Lasn dismisses that, reeling off specific demands: a tax on the richest 1 percent, a tax on currency trades and a tax on all financial transactions.

"Down the road, there will be crystal clear demands coming out of this movement," he said. "But this first phase of the movement is messy and leaderless and demandless."

"I think it was perfect the way it happened."

"Workers of the world unite"...ask the Chinese worker how that's working for them!

Sweatshops, Child Labor and Human Rights
Apple's factories in China have regularly employed young teenagers and people below the legal work age of 16, made people work grueling hours, and have tried to cover all this up. That's according to Apple's own 2010 report about its factories in China. In 2011, Apple reported that its child labor problem had worsened.

In 2010, the Daily Mail managed to get a reporter inside a facility in China that manufactures products for Apple and the paper shared a bit about what life is like:

With the complex at peak production, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet the global demand for Apple phones and computers, a typical day begins with the Chinese national anthem being played over loudspeakers, with the words: 'Arise, arise, arise, millions of hearts with one mind.'
As part of this Orwellian control, the public address system constantly relays propaganda, such as how many products have been made; how a new basketball court has been built for the workers; and why workers should 'value efficiency every minute, every second'.
With other company slogans painted on workshop walls - including exhortations to 'achieve goals unless the sun no longer rises' and to 'gather all of the elite and Foxconn will get stronger and stronger' - the employees work up to 15-hour shifts.
Down narrow, prison-like corridors, they sleep in cramped rooms in triple-decked bunk beds to save space, with simple bamboo mats for mattresses.
Despite summer temperatures hitting 35 degrees, with 90 per cent humidity, there is no air-conditioning. Workers say some dormitories house more than 40 people and are infested with ants and cockroaches, with the noise and stench making it difficult to sleep.

A company can be judged by how it treats its lowliest workers. It sets an example for the rest of the company or in Apple's case, the world.

ELISABETH HASSELBECK, CO-HOST: You said that if you do run against Obama, you probably get about a third of the African-American vote. But the other two thirds you said to Wolf Blitzer are brainwashed into voting for Obama again. You received backlash as well. Do you stand by that statement?

HERMAN CAIN, REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: I absolutely do, and here's why. I'm glad that you pointed that out, and I said this in my statement. The good news is a lot of black Americans are thinking for themselves. Now, there are some that are so brainwashed that they won't even consider a conservative idea.

HASSELBECK: What do you do about that?

CAIN: Well, you save the savable, and if they’re not, they don't even want to hear about my idea about my 999 plan. I tried to give that to some people and they didn’t want it because they saw me as a Republican, they saw me as a conservative. I call that being brainwashed, not being open-minded to another idea.

JOY BEHAR, CO-HOST: Well it hasn’t exactly, the Republican Party hasn't been black friendly over the many centuries in this country.

CAIN: I never said that.

BEHAR: Well I’m saying that.

HASSELBECK: Should we begin with Lincoln?

BEHAR: I’m sorry?

HASSELBECK: I just think that there is, like, that's not necessarily true.

Of course it's not true.

What ignoramuses in the media like Behar refuse to accept or acknowledge is that blacks in this country following the ratification of the 15th amendment in 1870 largely supported Republican candidates because of Lincoln. This was the case until the 1960s.

Furthermore, if it wasn't for Republicans, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 would not have passed.

Farbeit for someone like Behar to know this.

CBS Reporter: Obama W.H. 'Screamed and Cussed at Me'

CBS's Sharyl Attkisson revealed on Tuesday's "Laura Ingraham Show" the extent of the rage directed at her from the Obama administration for her reporting on the "Fast and Furious" controversy: "The DOJ woman was just yelling at me. A guy from the White House on Friday night literally screamed at me and cussed at me." Attkisson also stated that "they think I'm unfair and biased by pursuing it."
The journalist appeared on the conservative talk show host's program at the bottom of the 9 am Eastern hour to talk about her latest reporting on the growing Justice Department scandal. She highlighted on Monday's "CBS Evening News" that "new documents...show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial 'Fast and Furious' operation as far back as July 2010. That directly contradicts his [May 3, 2011] statement to Congress."]

Through this program, the federal government smuggled guns to Mexican drug cartels in order to "get a better handle on where... [the] cartels were operating," as fill-in anchor Bob Schieffer put it in his intro for Attkisson's report.
Ingraham first asked, "What exactly is the Justice Department saying to deflect criticism or concern that "Eric Holder might indeed have said something that was untrue to Congress?" The CBS correspondent led her answer with the anecdote about the yelling she had received:

SHARYL ATTKISSON: Well, in between the yelling that I received from [the] Justice Department yesterday- the spokeswoman, who would not put anything in writing. I was asking for her explanation, you know, so there would be clarity and no confusion later over what had been said. She wouldn't put anything in writing, so we talked on the phone, and she said things such as, the question Holder answered was different than the one he asked. But he phrased it, he said, you know, very explicitly, 'I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.'
We have evidence- the Justice Department turned over this material to Congress- I don't think it's all of it. But they turned over evidence of memorandums sent to the attorney general himself. Whether- if he wants to say he didn't read it, I'd suppose he could say he didn't read this. But as far back as July 2010, in the documents they sent, he was getting information on this program. So, he certainly heard of it sooner.

Later in the segment, the conservative radio host asked for more detail about the yelling. Attkisson named names:

Sharyl Attkisson, CBS News Correspondent | NewsBusters.orgINGRAHAM: So they were literally screaming at you?
ATTKISSON: Yes. Well, the DOJ woman was just yelling at me. A guy from the White House-
INGRAHAM: Who was it?
ATTKISSON: On Friday night literally screamed at me and cussed at me-
INGRAHAM: Who was the person? Who was the person at Justice screaming?
ATTKISSON: Eric Schultz- oh, the person screaming was [DOJ spokeswoman] Tracy Schmaler. She was yelling, not screaming-
INGRAHAM: Oh, really?
ATKISSON: And the person who screamed at me was Eric Schultz at the White House.
INGRAHAM: Hmm- I thought we were supposed to be so transparent. This is a new era of transparency. And Pelosi was draining the swamp, and the White House was going to turn a new page, and that was actually good to hear. I mean, we were like- okay, that's- we'll give them the benefit of the doubt. And then, the first time a reporter asked a serious question about, at least, a Justice Department move here, the reporter is yelled at and screamed at.
And I would imagine, Sharyl, that if- let's say, a NBC reporter had been yelled at and screamed at by Karl Rove, we would have been hearing about it for years afterward (laughs) in the Bush administration. It would be, 'Oh, those bullies over at the White House, once again, shutting down true inquiries into their goings-on behind closed doors.'

For the record, Schultz is the associate communications director at the White House and was the former head of communications for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Tracy Schmaler worked at Yahoo! as their senior director for global public affairs, and before that, for Senator Pat Leahy on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Near the end of the interview, the journalist revealed that the Obama White House even accused her of being biased:

ATTKISSON: And I'm certainly not the one to make the case for DOJ and White House about what I'm doing wrong-
INGRAHAM: Right-
ATTKISSON: They will tell you that I'm the only reporter- as they told me- that is not reasonable. They say 'The Washington Post' is reasonable, the 'LA Times' is reasonable, 'The New York Times' is reasonable- I'm the only one who thinks this is a story, and they think I'm unfair and biased by pursuing it. And my side of the story is- and I never knew where this story was going when I talked to those whistle-blowers back in January and February- and I didn't care where it went. I'm just, sort of, digging away and going where it leads. But I'm sure they take it very personally, because it's very important- they have very important implications.

Speaking of bias, Attkisson's colleagues at NBC and ABC have punted on the "Fast and Furious" issue. Neither Big Three network have covered the controversy on the air since April and June respectively.

Racist Holder is also a perjurer as well as a communist!

UPDATE: Congressman Calls for Special Council in Holder Probe!!

By Craig Andresen on October 4, 2011 at 5:45 pm

A good deal has happened with this whole Eric Holder possible perjury situation since The National Patriot published our original article, “Holder, at the Bottom of a Deep Hole, Keeps Digging” and as such, the saga deserves a breaking update.

Just hours after publication this morning, Republican Congressman Lamar Smith sent a letter to Obama instructing the DOJ to appoint a special council in the case to get to the bottom of Holder’s possible perjury stemming from his testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on May 3rd, 2011.

You can read that letter by clicking here.

For a case in which a special council is called for, that council does not report back to the Attorney General but, under the current law, it is the Attorney General, in this case, Eric Holder, who appoints that council. This is why Rep. Smith has asked Obama to do so since Holder is the subject of the investigation.

Here’s one question which needs to be asked:

Just who DOES the special council report to?

Another question which seems obvious but requires asking would be:

What exactly is the difference, given the nature of this case, between having Obama name the special council and having it done by Holder himself?

As was pointed out in my original article this morning, Holder and Obama have been the subject of questionable, HIGHLY questionable actions before and the two could BOTH have had prior knowledge of or actually ORDERED the Fast and Furious operation to begin with.

One of the key issues with the naming of a special council is the time frame. These things, as is the case with most things governmental, grind slowly and this, if anything, should not.

Another issue is that more often than not, such an investigation, led by a special council, can or is done behind closed doors and this situation demands clear and public hearings. These hearings should be televised, every minute of them and held with the doors wide open.

This case, Fast and Furious, is far different from most cases requiring a special council in that it involves much more than governmental misconduct or personal misconduct by an elected official. THIS case involves international incidents resulting in deaths on both sides of the U.S. Mexico border and the murder of U.S. Border agent Brian Terry.

Further, this case, Fast and Furious could have been authorized at the highest level, the white house which would make Obama himself ultimately responsible.

If all of that isn’t enough, not only do we need to get to the bottom of the possible perjury committed by Holder, we must also delve into and expose the entire cover-up of the operation and its deadly aftermath.

Whoever the special council turns out to be in this case, I believe they need to report, in public, behind open doors to the entire Judiciary Committee and be held accountable to the People of the United States.

As well, any and ALL who had ANY part in this operation or cover-up should be held accountable.

Who knew what?

When did they know it?

Have those who have already testified told the truth?

Who ultimately authorized this operation?

Exactly how many weapons “walked?”

Who was involved in any way shape or form from the DOJ?

From the ATF?

From the DHS?

Who in the administration had knowledge?

What were the roles played by the administration?

We the People deserve and should demand FULL accountability!!

Lost, in all of this are the whistle blowers, FORMER ATF agent Vince Cefalu, who was relieved of duty last June. Cefalu and agents John Dodson and Larry Alt have been the first and foremost to step forward and blow up the cover-up of Fast and Furious. Alt, upon coming forward, was transferred, NOT promoted and Dodson, who was the very first to come forward, back in March of 2011, may well have become the target of a smear campaign because of it.

According to Sen. Charles Grassley, “Department of “Justice” officials “leaked Privacy Act protected documents to the press in an effort to discredit Mr. Dodson with half-truths even though those documents had been withheld from Congress. It’s a very serious matter that should be thoroughly investigated.”

Those who have come forward, such as agents Dodson, Cefalu and Alt, are KEY players in any ongoing investigation and they need to watch their backs. If there is any way to provide them and their families with the ultimate protection, it should be put in place immediately.

It is incumbent upon Congressmen Issa and Smith as well as Senator Grassley to expedite this investigation, bring all focus to bear on it, do such in a completely open and public forum and hold to account all who have had a hand in this matter.

The National Patriot will continue to update this saga and stay atop those who must find the truth.

This 'Occupy Wall Street' rabble rousing is a community organizing effort and has Cloward-Pivens written all over it…same with the ‘Arab Spring’ and the Euro-riots!

This is part of a concerted effort to destroy (Christian) western civilization.

Read Demands of 'Occupy Wall Street' ... and Try Not to Laugh

AP

By Kerry Picket, Washington Times
The "Occupy Wall Street" protesters have listed 13 proposed demands from their website.

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending "Freetrade" by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.

Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.

Demand four: Free college education.

Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.

Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.

Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America's nuclear power plants.

Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.

Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.

Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.

Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the "Books." World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the "Books." And I don't mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.

Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.

Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or to form a union.

Ron Paul: Killing of Anwar Al-Awlaki is a 'step in the wrong direction’

I feel sick when I realize that if Bush had killed Al-Awlaki during his reign I would have high-fived him. How did we conservatives allow ourselves to come to the point where we celebrate the targeting of an American citizen for assassination.

Yes he was a despicable person and deserved to be brought to justice, and I would love to have seen him brought to justice, but where has our sense of justice gone? We use to believe in due process; a jury and a judge are supposed to be involved in that process.

Americans who commit treason are not summarily killed, they are tried in a court of law, not in the mind of the president!

If we allow the president to target those he deems despicable, you and I may find ourselves next in the crosshairs.

We use to be against nation building and now find ourselves trying to build entire regions.

We use to go to war when congress gave a declaration of war, not the UN or NATO or the president.

A man with the character of Barak Hussein Obama, and you know what I’m talking about, given this kind of latitude doesn’t give me a warm and fuzzy feeling!

By DAN HIRSCHHORN | 10/3/11 3:52 PM EDT

Ron Paul said Monday that President Barack Obama’s targeted killing of Anwar al-Awlaki might be an impeachable offense.

Asked at a Manchester, N.H. town hall meeting about last week’s killing of the American-born Al Qaeda leader, the Texas congressman said impeachment would be “possible,” but that he wants to know more about how the administration “flouted the law.”

POLITICO 44

Paul called the killing a movement toward “tyranny.”

“I put responsibility on the president because this is obviously a step in the wrong direction,” Paul said. “We have just totally disrespected the Constitution.”

The comments once again put Paul at odds with his Republican rivals over foreign policy and the war on terror in the latest indication of how his foreign policy views stray far from Republican orthodoxy even in a GOP that’s taken on an increasingly isolationist bent. Candidates like Michele Bachmann and Mitt Romney — who included the president in a list of people he commended in a statement released Friday — have generally been supportive of the killing. No one else in the field has spoken out against it.

But Paul’s stuck with the civil libertarians who’ve criticized the targeted killing of an American citizen without public due process.

Paul, speaking at the University of New Hampshire’s Manchester campus as part of a brief swing through the state, also made another pitch for eliminating the federal income tax.

“If our lives and our liberty are our own, we ought to be able to keep the fruits of our labor,” he said.

But he modulated a bit when asked about eliminating social welfare programs, offering a caution that he said “might be a bit too pragmatic for some.”

“I have an ideal of what we should strive for and a goal, and that would be no social services,” he said. “But for me it’s trying to work our way out of this. … I don’t argue we should drop those cold. I don’t even believe in closing down the Federal Reserve in one day.

18 Examples Of How Christians Are Being Specifically Targeted By Big Brother

Is the US government anti-Christ?

The End Of The American Dream
September 27, 2011

When the freedom of speech of one group is being threatened, it is a threat to all of us. Just because you may not be a Christian, don’t think that what you are about to read is not a problem for you as well.

The truth is that any individual or group that does not “fit in” with the new “politically-correct” global system that is emerging is going to be persecuted sooner or later. In our society today, it has become quite fashionable to bash Christians.

In fact, I am quite certain that some of the comments that get left after this article will say really horrible things about Christians. But after “Big Brother” is done with the Christians, are you sure that they will not come after you next?

When I speak of “Big Brother”, I am not just speaking of the government. In today’s world, giant corporations and the mainstream media also play instrumental roles in the totalitarian police state prison grid that is being constructed all around us.

The elite control the government, they run nearly all of the major corporations and they own most of the major media outlets.

Anyone that does not “conform” to their system is a threat. As time goes by, the persecution of those that attempt to “rebel” against their system is only going to become more intense.

So if you are not a Christian, do not applaud when the system cracks down on Bible-believing Christians.

You never know, you might be next.

The following are 18 examples of how Christians are being specifically targeted by “Big Brother”….

#1 Home Bible studies are now banned in the city of San Juan Capistrano, California. According to city officials, regular gatherings “of more than three people” in private homes are simply not allowed. One couple that has held home Bible studies for years has already been fined twice and is being threatened with even more fines.

#2 Paypal has initiated “formal investigations” of a large number of Christian websites and organizations. Apparently, many of these investigations have been launched due to concerns that these websites and organizations do not hold to a “politically-correct” view of sexuality.

According to WorldNetDaily, Paypal has targeted include Americans For Truth, Last Days Watchman and a host of other Christian organizations including “Abiding Truth Ministries, New Generation Ministries, Noua Dreapta of Romania, Truth in Action Ministries, Dove World Outreach, Faith Word Baptist Church, Family Research Institute and American Society for the Defense of Traditional Family”.

#3 In Wichita, Kansas last year, a Christian minister was handcuffed and hauled off to jail by police for sharing the gospel and handing out tracts to Muslims on a public sidewalk. Apparently freedom of speech does not apply on the public sidewalks of America any longer.

#4 In the UK, police recently threatened a cafe owner with arrest for silently playing a Bible DVD on a small television on the back wall of his cafe. The following is an excerpt from a Daily Mail article about this incident….

Mr Murray, 31, was left shocked after he was questioned for nearly an hour by the officers, who arrived unannounced at the premises.

He said he had turned off the Bible DVD after an ‘aggressive inquisition’ during which he thought he was going to be arrested and ‘frog-marched out of the cafe like a criminal’.

#5 Last year, a high school student in Southern California was suspended for two days because he had private conversations with his classmates during which he discussed Christianity. He was also banned from bringing his Bible to school ever again.

#6 Big cable networks regularly feature “comedians” that love to mock Christians. For example, HBO “comedian” Bill Maher recently stated that “there’s a term for people who hate charity and love killing: Christian“.

If that had been said about another minority group, it would have made front page headlines for weeks.

#7 Down in Texas, the Department of Veteran Affairs actually tried to ban prayers that include the words “God” or “Jesus” during funeral services for veterans.

#8 In North Carolina last year, a pastor was dismissed from his chaplain duties for praying in the name of Jesus.

#9 An unclassified Department of Homeland Security report published a couple years ago entitled “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment” claims that a belief in Bible prophecy “could motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition and weapons.” The report goes on to state that such people are potentially dangerous.

#10 Back on February 20, 2009, the State of Missouri issued a report entitled “MIAC Strategic Report: The Modern Militia Movement“. That report warned that the following types of people may be potential terrorists….

*anti-abortion activists

*those that are against illegal immigration

*those that consider “the New World Order” to be a threat

*those that have a negative view of the United Nations

#11 All over the nation, “child protection agencies” are ripping an inordinate number of children out of Christian homes. In many of these cases the parents believe in homeschooling their children or they do not believe in having their children vaccinated.

#12 On June 18, 2010 two Christians decided that they would peacefully pass out copies of the gospel of John on a public sidewalk outside a public Islamic festival in Dearborn, Michigan and within three minutes 8 police officers surrounded them and placed them under arrest.

#13 A Christian consultant was recently fired by Bank of America and by Cisco because they discovered a book that he had written that expressed Christian viewpoints about social issues.

#14 A while back, a federal judge actually ruled that the University of California can deny course credit to applicants from Christian high schools that use textbooks that teach that it was God who created the earth.

#15 Back in 2009, one 8 year old boy in Massachusetts was sent home from school and was forced to undergo a psychological evaluation because he drew a picture of Jesus on the cross.

#16 The Obama administration has announced that there is a whole host of laws that it will not be enforcing, but one thing that the Obama administration has chosen to do is to aggressively pursue lawsuits against anti-abortion protesters.

#17 During a Congressional hearing earlier this year, U.S. Representative Sheila Jackson Lee warned that “Christian militants” might try to “bring down the country” and that such groups need to be investigated.

#18 According to a shocking FBI document obtained by Oath Keepers, the FBI definition of “suspicious activity” now includes making “extreme religious statements” and believing in “radical theology“.

The good news is that there still is at least a limited amount of religious freedom in America. It may soon be gone, but at least we are in better shape than most of the globe.

Almost 70 percent of the population of the world now lives in countries where religious activities are highly restricted.

The sad truth is that the entire planet is moving away from freedom of religion.

That is a right that we are supposed to be guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution, but it should be obvious to everyone that our right to religious freedom is rapidly dying.

If you are not religious, don’t think that you should not be fighting for religious freedom along with the rest of us.

Once they take some of our rights away, it will be much easier for them to take all the rest of our rights away.

United we stand, or divided we will fall.

Can you handle the truth?

France Bans Cash Sales of Gold/Silver over $600

This is supposed to curb copper theft so why include gold and silver?

Tightening the Noose: France Bans Cash Sales of Gold/Silver over $600

By Mac Slavo
SHTFplan.com
September 23, 2011

A couple of weeks ago our report that some Austrian banks had begun restricting the sale of gold and silver to 15,000 Euro (~$20,000 USD) reportedly because of money laundering issues was met with disbelief by many readers of financial news and information web sites.

As we mentioned in that commentary, it is our view that governments, namely in Western nations, are making it more difficult for individuals to make gold purchases, as well as to do so anonymously.

It looks like this trend of restricting the peoples’ ability to acquire assets of real monetary value is expanding.

If a recent report from France is accurate, and based on the French governments official web site it looks like it is, then as of September 1, 2011, anyone attempting to sell or purchase ferrous or non-ferrous metals, which includes gold and silver, will be required to pay for their purchase via a credit card or bank wire transfer if it exceeds 450€ (~ $600 USD):

Here is the applicable French law via www.legifrance.gouv.fr and translated into English by Google Translate:

Article L112-6
Amended by Law n ° 2011-900 of July 29, 2011 – art. 51 (V)

I. Can be made in cash payment of a debt greater than an amount fixed by decree, taking into account the place of tax residence of the debtor and the professional purpose of the operation or not.

In addition a monthly fixed by decree, the payment of salaries and wages is subject to the prohibition contained in the preceding paragraph and shall be made by check or by transfer to a bank or postal account or account held by a payment institution.

Any transaction on the retail purchase of ferrous and non ferrous is made by crossed check, bank or postal transfer or by credit card, not the total amount of the transaction may not exceed a ceiling set by decree. Failure to comply with this requirement is punishable by a ticket for the fifth class.

II.-I Notwithstanding, the costs of the department conceded that exceed the sum of 450 euros must be paid by bank transfer.

III.-The preceding provisions shall not apply:

a) For payments made by persons who are incapable of binding themselves by a check or other payment, as well as those who have no deposit account;

b) For payments made between individuals not acting for business purposes;

c) paying the expenses of the state and other public figures.

According to independent reports the law was passed to curb the illegal sale of stolen metals like copper, steel, etc.

Given the rampant rise in thefts of these metals from telephone poles, construction sites and businesses here in the United States, we can certainly see this as a reasonable assessment for why the French passed this law.

However, the fact that no exception was made for gold and silver simply cannot be ignored.

The new law effectively makes it illegal to purchase even a single Troy ounce of gold or around 18 ounces of silver in cash.

Looking at a single incident, for example the identification requirements in some major US cities like Houston, TX if you want to trade bullion, or the aforementioned restrictions in Austria, could be construed as coincidence or no big deal.

But the most recent example in France suggests that what we have here is not a coincidence, but rather, a pattern.

If there truly is a behind-the-scenes push to keep gold out of the hands of the people, then it would likely be done through indirect means and we commoners would be none the wiser.

How long before the US Congress, as a result of the rise in metals thefts here in the United States, uses this same excuse as a pretext to follow in the footsteps of the French?

Strike that question. That can’t happen in America.

Occupy Wall Street Protesters Call For Totalitarian Government, Re-Election Of Obama

There is something very wrong with this picture

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
Sunday, October 2, 2011

Despite their honest intentions, many of the Occupy Wall Street protesters are being suckered into a trap and calling for the very “solutions” that are part of the financial elite’s agenda to torpedo the American middle class – higher taxes and more big government.

Watch the clip below in which journalist Adam Kokesh talks to Occupy Wall Street protesters.

The ignorance displayed in these interviews knows no bounds. The protesters just don’t get it. They are calling for the government to use force to impose their ideas, all in the name of bringing down corporations who they don’t realize have completely bought off government regulators. Corporations and government enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship – getting one to regulate the other is asinine and only hurts smaller businesses who are legitimately trying to compete in a free market economy that barely exists.

The zeal for totalitarian government amongst some of the “protesters” is shocking. One sign being carried around read, “A government is an entity which holds the monopolistic right to initiate force,” which seems a little ironic when protesters complain about being physically assaulted by police in the same breath.

One woman interviewed by Kokesh also announces her intention to help Obama to capture a second term. How can a self-proclaimed Occupy Wall Street protester simultaneously support the man whose 2008 campaign was bankrolled by Wall Street, whose 2012 campaign is reliant on Wall Street to an even greater extent, and whose cabinet was filled with Wall Street operatives?

Something is very wrong with this picture.

The usual suspects, mega-rich foundations and elitists, behind the young radicals have also started to emerge – George Soros, The Ruckus Society, the Tides Foundation and the Ford Foundation.

“The belated crusade against Wall Street is even more pathetic as it is coordinated by groups who wouldn’t exist without men like Soros, who made their money from deals that make the Street look sparkling clean. It’s class warfare as a cynical jab at the populist center, the people who mutter to themselves that the Street is full of crooks and so is Congress,” writes Daniel Greenfield.

The thousands of Americans currently expressing their disgust at Wall Street and the bankers who have ruined the economy to the detriment of the poor and middle class should be commended for getting off their hind ends and doing something, unlike the millions who will continue to watch American Idol, drink beer and laugh in ignorance as the country is flushed down the toilet. It should also be added that there is a sprinkling of “End the Fed” demonstrators who truly understand the root cause of the problem.

However, the fact that the majority of the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators are advocating “solutions” which the very elite they claim to be protesting against also want should set alarm bells ringing.

The official Occupy Wall Street website vehemently supports Obama’s tax agenda, again in the deluded belief that Obama, the ultimate Wall Street puppet, genuinely wants to go after big corporations who use loopholes to avoid paying income tax.

In calling for higher taxes on the middle class, the protesters are mimicking the likes of billionaire Warren Buffet. The top corporations pay virtually zero income tax because of loopholes that they have crafted in league with bought off government regulators. Obama’s tax hikes will only impact genuine middle class businesses and middle class Americans earning over $200,000 – with the rate of inflation as it is this can hardly be described as the “super rich”.

As Anthony Wile writes, the protesters are being completely misdirected by their socialist/communist leaders. The real center of financial control is the Federal Reserve and the city of London, and yet ideologue Michael Moore said earlier this week that “ending capitalism” was more important than dealing with the Fed.

Wile notes that the protesters seem obsessed with those who conduct financial transactions, not those who actually run global central banks, the real string pullers.

“To get at the root of the problem, one should be protesting, say, in London’s City where central banking originated. Or protesting in front of the Federal Reserve in Washington DC. These are real seats of power. But the shadowy and excessively powerful and wealthy individuals who have created the modern economic system are quite satisfied no doubt to have Wall Street take the blame. It suits their purposes,” writes Wile.

“It is too bad that the Occupy Wall Street movement seems to be obscuring the larger issues by apparently blaming the private (transactional) sector in entirety for what has occurred in the past few years.”

UPDATE: Watch Alex Jones’ special broadcast in which he breaks down how the Occupy Wall Street protests are being run by the elite to distract Americans from the real source of the problem – the Federal Reserve. Jones has announced a nationwide Occupy the Fed rally and will personally be protesting Federal Reserve locations in Dallas, San Antonio and Houston this coming week.
