The domestic terrorist organization, the ACLU, files suit on behalf of al-Awlaki

ACLU Seeks Safe Haven for Terror Mastermind

He is the inspiration behind the Ft. Hood terrorist attacks. He was behind the failed Christmas Day bombing attempt. And he is at the center of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, which is now reportedly working closer than ever with affiliates in Pakistan and Somalia to attack our homeland.

This record certainly qualifies Yemeni-American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki among America’s most wanted. Indeed, according to reports, even former constitutional law professor President Barack Obama has authorized Predator drone strikes against Awlaki. The extremist ACLU has made him a cause celebre.

On Monday, the ACLU filed a formal lawsuit seeking to halt what it says is an "illegal" U.S. government assassination order against this wanted terrorist, claiming "there is not an imminent threat and lethal force is not necessary."

I wonder how many intelligence professionals agree that Awlaki is no imminent threat? None I know. On the contrary, the emergence of U.S. citizens as al-Qaeda operatives alarms them, greatly.

  1. The ACLU is antichrist and antiamerican, antiobama and against our entire government! Myself and John Walsh AMW will abolish the ACLU and all criminal defense attorneys and the NARAL AND NAF/Nova healthcare and abolish all of those ACLU affilates which are Amnesty International, CAIR, ACLU human rights groups and the Centers on Constitutional Rights! They will be disregarded and rebuked under both the John Walsh criminal justice system reform legislation/Caylees law and the Angela Fretz banning and abolishing sanitary napkin plastics act legislation!
