Join FreedomWorks in Raleigh, NC on 6 April to Protest Unconstitutional ObamaCare

FreedomWorks
Since the Obama, Pelosi, Reid health care debacle was signed into law, at least fourteen states have joined a lawsuit against the overhaul, arguing that the law’s requirement that individuals buy health insurance is unconstitutional. This is a huge step in the continuing fight against the government takeover of health care and the preservation of our individual liberties.
This lawsuit is the latest in the growing fight against the encroachment of government in the states where three dozen legislatures are considering bills aimed at blocking parts of the health care bill, not to mention the groundswell of opposition against those who voted for it.
FreedomWorks has pledged to continue the fight against ObamaCare, in the courts, states, and at the ballot box. Please make plans to join us in Raleigh on April 6 for a rally and press conference where we will urge Roy Cooper, our attorney general, to sign onto the lawsuit, or file his own like neighboring Virginia attorney general Ken Cuccinelli did earlier last week.
Here are the details:
When: April 6, 2010, 8:30 am
Where: Halifax Mall, Raleigh (outside the General Assembly Legislative Building)
Key Note Speakers: Cherie Berry, Commissioner of Labor and Steve Troxler, Commissioner of Agriculture
Transportation: Buses are being coordinated by our friends We the People NC for those WEST of Wake County and by the Informed Voters of NC for those EAST of Wake County. Please visit their websites for details.
Please note that poles are not allowed on Halifax mall, including flag poles or signs attached to poles.
The fight is far from over. We need to urge our officials to stand up for us and our state. Come to Raleigh April 6 for our rally and press conference to ask Attorney General Roy Cooper to stand up for North Carolina and join the lawsuit against unconstitutional individual mandates.
And if you haven't made plans to do so already, please join us in Washington, DC on April 15 as we rally across from the White House in the shadow of the Washington Monument to show our leaders that we aren't going away any time soon.
Please invite your friends and see you in Raleigh!
Sincerely,
Allen Page
North Carolina State Director
