Food, oil prices up, yet no inflation? Can you say QE2…

The dollar is losing value because the FED is printing trillions of dollars out of nothing. How much would a $1 bill be worth if there was only one in existence? The more in existence the less it is worth.
Why is food and fuel not included in the governments formula for calculating the inflation rate? It makes no sense!
